I wanted to ask your opinion on something. I noticed that a few IP users are actually using other brands products. It kind of sparked my interest as i wouldnt mind saving a few bucks. Do you think that i could swap out IP snacks to the Proti-thin snacks? without having any adverse affect?

Hi! Yes, tons of us use alternative products. Many Proti-Diet and Proti-Thin products are in line with IP's nutritional facts.

If you search, there are many previous threads on alternative products.

I probably use 95% IP products and 5% Alternatives. My favorites are Apple Pie Quest Bars, Proti-Thin Peanut Butter and Smooth Caramel Crisp Bars and Weight Loss Systems Creamy Cheesecake Pudding.

Hope that helps!

MANY of us use "alternative" products in place of the IP packets (I did 19 of my 29 weeks on off-brand products). If you search through the forum, you will find SEVERAL threads on alternative products that are compatible with Phase 1 - what they are, where to buy them, what nutritional info to look for. Good luck!

Thumbs up big mac...

I had that yesterday, except I wrapped it in lettuce instead, wow, feels like cheating a little doesn't it?? I'm learning that I enjoy texture and identifying some triggers...this is a great diet!

Don't forget oatmeal and soy nuts are both restricted...we can only have 1 per day.
