Hi everyone, had my WI tonight and even after my total breakdown and full fledged pity party last night I did lose 2.5 lbs. I know you have all said stay away from the home scale and trust in the program. Today I Believe and Bring it on. I have failed so many times it just gets hard to believe. So apologize for my cry baby crap last night. We must all BELIEVE in this program! Mostly me. And I do today

Hi, all - thinking of all of you in the gulf area - stay safe.

Have been lurking more on the 50+ board lately...

Weigh in next week is Tuesday because of the holiday (usually Monday).

Retaining water this week and so I had no loss, but today my clothes seem bigger, so I am feeling optimistic. Anyhow the 8-day week gives me a bigger opportunity to chalk up a loss!

It is not on my sheet & if it's not on my sheet, I don't eat it.
Do you have a Phase 1 sheet? Legumes are typically considered starch, rather than low carb veggie.

Hi everyone...I've been so busy this week the only time I've had time to come by I've been on my iPad, which makes everything more difficult to reply-to and format. So I lurked. It sounds like there have been some GREAT losses and so glad everyone is safe from Isaac.

Tonite I'm packing & pre-cooking some IP packet hacks in anticipation of my weekend in Michigan.

SOOOOOOOO...just got back from WI - the inches fairy did not visit me this week but OH MAN I think the whoosh fairy smacked me head-on! Down 5 pounds!!!

Going to find some uses for the leeks I bought at the farmer's market yesterday, and make some okra chips to go with lunch! I'm going to make the mushroom soup into 2 small flatbreads and toast some Veggie Shreds in between them for a grilled cheese sammie!
Mmmm! Okra chips? I did not see a recipe for that...but I love okra. Could you tell me where to find it please scorbett .

Im still 100% despite a near cheat yesterday- I wanted an alcoholic beverage so badly! I had some bad news early in the day and then couldn't snap out of it. I went for a long walk and drank a ton of water trying to stop the craving and just ended up going to bed early.
Way to make it throught the day!! So proud of you for not cheating!!

I've seen them posted in a few places here, but all I did was cut them and put on parchment paper on a cookie sheet, spray with EVOO and sprinkle with sea salt, and roasted at 425 for about 12 minutes (my oven runs hot so I checked at about 10 minutes then waited until they started to brown). They were nummy!

I have been given the same suggestions from my coach today... This doesn't make it seem promising but please let me know if you find something that works.

Talking Wi Day!

Today was weigh in #2 since but #1 since I restarted. I was down 1.8 lbs which isn't alot but I have REALLY been struggling with the big C this week. However, I was down another 2.5 inches for a total of 5 AND my body fat percentage went dow 2.4%!! This is something to celebrate for sure!

WI in tonight after having last week off, my coach was on her honeymoon. Happy to say I was down 4.5 pounds and 4 inches. Still amazed at how well this works!
