Hi Jordanna! Still going to the clinic in St A? 20ish pounds down is great!

Jo, I have to chuckle whenever anyone mentions Winnipeg and cold. I was chatting with a young new student at school who had just moved from Winnipeg to Edmonton. She said they moved because of the climate. It was -30 here in Edmonton. Now when it gets really cold I think maybe it's worse in Winnipeg!

Clarinton, Cayman Islands sounds like a great option!

That makes me laugh. I live in the NWT and a few years ago, friends of ours moved to Winnipeg. When I told my dh, he said something like they're moving to Winnipeg, don't they know it's cold there. So when it's in the -40s here, I always joke to him, well at least we didn't move to Winnipeg!

HIYA Pat!!

I am actually going to see Taylors daughter Trista in Edmonton now, apparently Taylor is closing her St. Albert clinic because she is running the rest of her Health & Wellness business out of her home now and you can't run IP out of a residential location.

I'm hoping for a 3-4 lb loss this week....I seem to be stalling for some reason. Oh well, down just over 20 lbs is better than not down!

Are you back on?

Ha, ha - people from Edmonton and NWT making fun of Winnipeg Yes, it's cold here and winters are pretty miserable but - I've lived in different places, even overseas for a couple of years, and this is still "home". Besides, now we have a hockey team to cheer for and keep us warm

Hi Jordanna, That's too bad, I liked Taylor but Trista is not too far away either. You likely have a bit more time now that you kids are not toddlers anymore. Are you still working?
I need to get 10 pounds back off. I really don't want to go back on phase 1 because of Big C issues. But just realized the diabetic protocol would likely work without the grain part. I need to get the 10 pounds off to be comfortable in my cooler weather pants, I got rid of all my bigger clothes when I got to goal and refuse to buy bigger ones now.
Now is a good time until the holiday season.

Thanks to everyone for all the great tips on alternative products. I was hesitant at first to go outside the program but I have been still using some IP products, but saving a lot of money substituting bars and shakes. I just ordered a bunch of food from low carb grocery and they shipped it all the next day!! I am 3 weeks back on IP from my summer break and down 16 lbs, so the alternatives must be working

Greetings from Regina, SK. I haven't checked in here too much but I love the Canada thread. It's a beautiful day today, hopefully we can make this great weather last for a couple months.

I'm sitting, looking at the sunshine and enjoying my chocolate spinach shake with almond flavour....yummy!

Hope everyone has a great on plan day.

Hi All, As of Friday I am going to be switching to alternatives, even though it's only been 3 weeks on IP I need to for financial reasons So I do plan to look through the threads and get ideas etc..

What I liked the most on IP was the chocolate drink, omelet, banana pudding and chippy snacks..

Do you know of anywhere I can some of these items? Again I will look though the threads and try and figure out the good options that are cost effective.. thanks for any suggestions you might have..

Hi There, I live in Bowmanville - so thought I would say hi - I am just switching to alterntives..QUOTE=zweezers;4825653]Hi everyone! Back at IP and using alternatives. I live in Ontario and was wondering if anyone knows a good place to buy a good alternative to the IP chocolate drink mix. I did buy proti diet chocolate drink which was great but well.ca is no longer(

Also does anyone in the Durham region know if Costco still sells Detour bars? I'm not sure what to buy. I would buy from Walmart as well but again, not sure whats good!

Thanks![/QUOTE]

Good evening all. Another dreary wet day here in Thunder Bay.
Has anyone else tried the new IP cookie dough or chocolate brownie ?
Cookie dough.. I could take it or leave it but the brownie was delish! Similar to the chocolate chip cookie in texture but much nicer taste.

I'm looking forward to the end of September, I will be phasing off in a 10 week process that my coach has developed using real food instead of IP. I know I still have a long way to go but I have planned to be off by Dec to enjoy our Jamaica trip, Christmas and my brother in-law's 50th birthday on New Years. Going to make good choices but I know I will not stay phase 1.

In January, I plan on going back on IP, just have to decided if it will be IP for 4 weeks then the wellness plan to goal, or IP to goal. I guess I will know better once I have done the 10 week wellness plan.
Sorry for the long post, just feeling chatty I guess .

Have a good night all.

I've tried the cookie dough swirl bars (picked up another 3 yesterday) and it's pretty good. I'm not a huge chocolate fan but they are a nice mix.

Interesting plan, good luck! I'm going to be "phasing off" for Christmas/January as we're going to Mexico mid-January but I plan to be right back at it by February 1.

The omelet is easy to replicate...I quit using the IP version and went to fresh egg after the second week. You can use 1 egg and 2 whites. That will give you the right amount of protein..0 carbs...and leave a few calories for you to add some vegetables ( mushrooms, green peppers, spinach zuchinni...etc... They will be part of your 4 C allowance for the day ) and still be within IP parameters.

All of my notes say omelet packet = 1 egg + 3 egg whites
