Knowing what we can get here in Canada and where to get it is soo helpful. I do have a question though, is there alternative products for the omelet and any chip type products?
I haven't been able to find a packet omelette replacement that's available, other than a source from the US. Someone here asked once if they could use Eggbeaters egg replacement, and the answer was that it would be ok but to remember that you'd need at least 3 servings for each omelette to get the correct level of protein.
http://www.eggbeaters.com/nutrition-...upc=7027200216 As to chips, if you look at thelowcarbgrocery site, check under 'Pro Energy Diet Products' - they have some chips that are a decent alternative. The net carb count is > than 8gm though, so they should be considered as a Restricted. Also note that they don't have enough protein (only 10gm/bag, whereas IP products generally have between 15-18g/packet)... if I was going to use them, I'd add a bit of extra protein to that meal or snack.
