I live in BR, so I can suggest some, but I'm not sure how familiar everyone is with the area. Oh! New thought! What about at the BR Whole Foods? There is only one, so everyone should be able to find it, and it's on a busy corner with easy access to interstates. Plus, there is a coffee/tea shop. Let me know!

Sounds great and W F is a good idea. Count me in and keep me posted, please.

I know where that is. I may have to take my kids there.

Red face Day 4 in BR

Hi everyone,
I did post on a forum yesterday, but don't know where!

This is day 4 and my blood pressure and blood sugar are down already! That is very encouraging and I believe a support group meeting would be great. Whole Foods sounds good to me.

I haven't gone into Ketosis yet even though I have followed it strictly.
Did all of you who first started have three or four proteins in the beginning?

You should be hitting ketosis in the next few days. I have always had 3 packets a day from the start.

I might not be able to make every meeting, but would be interested in the monthly meet up. Count me in!

I realize this is an older post, but I'm also interested in a Baton Rouge meet up. Has anyone had a chance to meet up?

I am also from BR, Broadmoor area. I weigh in at BR Fit near Old Hammond Hwy. My first weigh in is Tuesday. I'm already addicted to Broccoli and Cheese soup and wild berry Yogurt drink mix. Day 6 and still suffering from headaches. any suggestions?

Im from Denham Springs and I have my first weigh-in today at Womans Center for Wellness. I tend to get headaches after lunch that I take Advil for, I try not to take it everytime so I just drink more water or chew some gum and it usually helps!

Add some sea salt to your day, your eletrolytes are outta wack. Pour 1/2tsp in the palm of your hand, lick it then drink some water, within 15 minutes your headache should be gone.

I do this for headaches also. But, I don't like to lick my hand, I just stick my tongue into my sea salt container. I figure it's about 1/2 tsp.
