Glad to see so many folks from BTR. I am from BTR as well. I started IP in Jan and lost about 45 pounds. I got sidetracked for whole of April when I had to travel for work. With great difficulty I was able to muster up some motivation to start the diet all over again.
Did you guys form a support group?
Thanks Sewing Momma! I did lick some salt off my hand. LOL! It eased up so it may very well be too little salt intake. I just put extra on my broccoli for lunch. Seems to be working today...just didnt cut it yesterday. I am having a hard time with not chewing...my coach said no gum. I LOVE GUM!
pssssss......in a whispering voice....I chew sugarfree gum everyday. Extra sugarfree.....what she don't know won't hurt I have chewed it from day one and ive been on the program for over a year now.
If y'all start a support group and meet once a month y'all NEED to let me know so I can make plans to BE THERE!!!!

I endulged in a piece of sugar free gum yesterday! I can understand where it may be a problem if i chewed 20 pieces a day...but one shouldn't hurt! Glad to know you are a gum chewer too

Ok, let's get serious about a BR (and MS) support group. First, we need a count of about how many are interested. Then, when we'll meet. I suggest meeting once a month, like Lisa said, and a set schedule would be easiest, such as the last Saturday of every month. I think a coffee shop would be a good place. I live in BR, so I can suggest some, but I'm not sure how familiar everyone is with the area. Oh! New thought! What about at the BR Whole Foods? There is only one, so everyone should be able to find it, and it's on a busy corner with easy access to interstates. Plus, there is a coffee/tea shop. Let me know!
I had my first weigh in today.......I'm on day 6 and i have lost exactly 5lbs!!!!!!!!! I got the caramel nuts bars this time to eat as a mid-afternoon snack. My blood sugar was dropping too low in the afternoons causing me to feel awful!!!!
