IP is definately the best present I gave myself - I gave myself permission to do this diet on 19 April last year...today is the 52nd weigh in...and I'm very proud to say "GOAL!"

BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!!!! I can't stop smiling...my cheeks hurt....I'M SO EXCITED AND SO HAPPY AND SO EVERYTHING!!!!!!!

YAY!!!!! :D!!!!!

ptod 04-18-2012 07:46 PM

Oh and I forgot to mention.....was down 4 pounds at WI today. Go me! :D

Then I took 2 watches to the jeweler - 2 links out of one and 3 links out of the other. Too cool!

I was wondering why DH was late getting home from work tonight. He finally wanders in and yells Happy Birthday! Well it was my b-day a couple of weeks ago, but I went with it. He hands me a big box and it turns out to be a food dehydrator. I burst out laughing - I have been on a kick lately making zucchini chips and this is his way of supporting my new obsession. I think I will keep him!

:congrat: You deserve everything you have gained on your journey - including cheeks that hurt from smiling so much! And new bras! You are inspiring!

Being 100% OP has become such a way of life after 19 days I can't imagine not doing it! I love this forum because it's full of successes...before I started the diet the coach said it would work wonders as long as there were no cheats...so true when I read about all you 100%ers...I'm proud to be with you!

Beanie Mommy 04-18-2012 08:47 PM

Go Ishbel!!! You are such an inspiration, and your success and the timing is just off the charts!

Busymomx4 04-18-2012 08:56 PM

Ishbel - i am SO SO proud of you. 1 year, 141lbs and goal on your birthday, you couldn't have asked for better! :congrat:

I had a delayed Easter dinner this week and all I could eat was plain salad and deviled eggs. However I'm glad I stay 100% OP. This week, loss of 6.4lbs! This is far more rewarding than any food I could have eaten in seconds.

I really only have one question in that I do have a long daily commute (bus/subway - both ways) so I am curious as to how to set up my day. Right now, I usually just have coffee before I leave and then eat something when I get to work. I am thinking that I should stick to that routine and see how it works out? I know sometimes too many changes right away makes it more difficult.
Thanks so much – look forward to chatting with you all….

I would stick with your routine. Just have a shake or a bar for breakfast at work.

Went training last night but i need to speak to my trainer cause i don't think she's working my inner thighs enough as that's my only body part that isn't hurting at all and since its a big problem area, i want to work on it as much as possible. Also, before going yesterday i had 3 egg whites since i had my ip pudding at 3:30 and wasn't going to eat dinner until 8:30 and i wanted to make sure i wasn't going to feel dizzy or something. Is that ok or i should've skipped it? This morning i was up 0.8 so i don't know if its from the egg whites or training and just bloating as i'm on day 2 of TOM. I'm so clueless when it comes to this stuff, lol.

Have a great day everyone and congrats on all the WI and NSV :)

Can't imagine some egg whites would cause a gain. Just make sure you have 1/2 an extra packet right before and right after you work out, otherwise you really might gain. Your body really does need that extra protein, otherwise it's going to go into your muscle for that needed protein if you don't provide it with extra. You then loose lean muscle mass and gain body fat which isn't good at all especially if you want to get rid of the loose skin.

Hey everyone.. I'm new here too and starting my 2nd week of IP... 100%!!!! No deviations from the program allowed me to have a super successful first WI yesterday... are you ready?? 9.5 down... in my mind that is phenomenal, hence the statement STOKED!! This by far is the best and easier program I have ever followed. It's so exciting to see the success of the other posters too... congrats to you all!!

Congrats everyone on great weight losses!

Happy Birthday Ishbel and Congratulations on GOAL!

My 11th WI today and I lost 2.8 lbs. for a total of 26 lbs. since 2/2. My coach says because of all my health concerns (diabetes/HBP) and the meds I was on, my loss will be slower than most even though the diabetes and HBP have resolved and I am no longer on those meds. It can be disappointing being on the low end of the chart, but she said nothing else would have worked for me. So, the silver lining in this is, according to my calculations (and I love to calculate things):book2:, I should be phased off just in time for Thanksgiving! The important thing is my health is in a much better place than it was 3 months ago, and I am not ever going back. 100% is the only way this diet works, and I love being there with all y'all.

I thought you only needed extra packets if you were doing cardio, but i'm only doing weight training or yoga. And wouldn't egg whites be enough since its all protein? I really don't want to stall...maybe i shoudl wait til i'm done losing weight...

Ishbel 04-19-2012 10:15 AM

You guys ALL rock...the daily support that this forum offers is incredible. It's so nice to be surrounded by people who are in the same boat who can either offer the pep talk or allow you the opportunity to provide the pep talk. I believe there is strength in both sides of the coin. No one is emotionally 100% - 100% of the time. Whatever you need...it's here!

I went to the cupboard today to get my packet and thought "wait a sec!" and grabbed my shrimp.

Because I've gone through Phase 2 and 3 (for vacation) I'm not as stressed out this time...so I'm not AS prepared but it's also not a big deal (way more relaxed this time). I grabbed some shrimp for lunch today and will have three eggs tomorrow. Looking back maybe I was preparing a bit...cause I do have some easy 'go-to' items in the freezer.

I didn't think of my birthday until the BFFL last week said "wouldn't it be cool if you got to goal on your birthday" and I looked at her and said "HOLY XXXX, I didn't think of that". WOOT WOOT, for giving myself IP as a birthday present last year...and eventually making it to goal as a birthday present this year. I started a year ago today!

ptod - I wondered where you went! :) Glad to have you back - I got my eye on you! ;)
