Hi Everyone! It's been awhile since I posted but I've been chugging along @ 100%. Moved into Phase 2 two weeks ago. Was planning on staying here longer, but I think I'm ready to move to Phase 3. A few reasons...

Last week, I went shopping to kill some time while my DH was having an outpatient procedure. I wanted to see where I was at size-wise. In my head, I have 10-15 more pounds to go but my coach has been encouraging me to focus on size and how I feel, not the number. (that's a hard one):dizzy:
Anywaaay, I got into a pair of size 8 SKINNY JEANS! :carrot::carrot::carrot: I couldn't believe it and went and got another pair because I was sure these were mis-marked. I stood there in the Nordstrom mirror and almost cried with the sales girl. What's amazing/interesting is about 10 years ago, I did Weight Watchers and exercised like a crazy person 4-5 days a week, got down to 151 lbs and was a size 10!! I'm 10 pounds heavier and a size smaller! It's insane! :dizzy:

So, tomorrow is my WI, and I think I'll be telling my coach that I'm ready to start Phase 3. I'll be able to exercise (not like a crazy person) and I'm sure that will help with more loss of inches.

If I can, I'll post an updated picture tomorrow in my new jeans! (yes, I splurged...of course!) :carrot:

Have a nice evening everyone!

Pam

BusyMom - I read you can store up to 10 lbs in your lower intestine. You know you're on track. You have been 100% OP. Maybe you could try spending 5 minutes sending love to your tummy-parts and telling them to take their time. You'll send lots of water and some good tea (once you find it) but meanwhile it might be soothing to thank your body for doing its best? Sometimes a little kindness helps everything. You're doing great. You deserve some self-care. :)

Welcome Skeeter!!
What sweet thoughts and certainly worth trying. Your stats are impressive. did you lose all your weight so far on IP?

Glad you joined us.

Just checking in. Today is day one of phase one. Just back from four weeks on P3 for surgery. All is well and I am 100 percent. Day one is much easier after phase three than it was when I first started in October. Last 18 pounds- BE GONE!!!!!

Welcome back from recuperation! How was time on phase 3? Did you continue to lose? I've been reading that by cycling between phase 3 and phase 1 your body gets shocked and weight loss jumps. Let us know how it goes!

Just wanted to say thanks to the 100%ers...I really wished I could cheat on Easter candy yesterday but I remembered what I had read on this board and thought about how it can be done the right way 100% OP...it got me through!

I agree, knowing just how bad cheating really is, the damage it does, is enough to keep us (me) on the straight & narrow.

I don't know what the Dieter's tea is. Can you please explain or point me to a thread that has more details?

I believe Dieter's tea is a senna based tea, senna is a natural laxative. I've used this, it works.

Which I can come up with plenty, including "do I really mind being overweight? As long as I can be active?". Answer-yes I do mind. So here I go again and going to shed the last two thirds of this weight! Whose with me?

Love the new pic! And yes, I'm with you! I want to lose this weight and keep it off!!

We're at about the same place with the same experience, both weight and size-wise. So crazy to be so small at this weight. I am still focused on another 15 lbs. as I want to be a small 8, but will reevaluate as I get closer.
Congratulations again!

Size 8 skinny jeans...awesome work! I have no idea of what that would feel like as I haven't been a size 8 in 25 years.

I love listening to the success stories, you all keep up inspired! Thank you!
Have a nice day!

Pamelama: Welcome back! WOOHOO for size 8!!! Now you need new boots to go with the skinny jeans...or new flats...or new heels (or as I like to call them - spikes) :D

Chloe Is the tea just called "dieter's tea"?? I am going to scope it out at the health food store and if I just say that then I don't have to look as hard. LOL

swimcoachmomma Welcome back to you too!! :)

Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

Good morning everyone,

Pamelama - Congrats on the size 8 skinny jeans! I don't think i'll ever fit in skinny jeans as my thighs are too big but that's ok.

So eventful morning...for those who are canadian (or watch canadian news) must know that univeristy students have been on strike for a over a month now and this morning they were blocking access to the building I work at and after about an hour, the police finally got them out of the way (wasn't pretty, police clubs and pepper spray was used). Last week they pulled the fire alarm and we had to evacuate (before they figured out what happened)...i'm on the 22nd floor so its a long way down. I'm quite tired of it.

Otherwise, nothing much new to report. Everyone is doing so well :)

Even though I was scared to death to do the Phase 3 for 2 weeks, I am SOOOOOOOO GLAD I did!!....I guess my body DID need a shock because in the last 3 weeks I have loss 15lbs!....my coach told me today that if I go back to losing 1lb a weeks we will shock my body again but she said she doesn't think we will have too because at this rate I will be at my goal quick!!...WOOHOOOOO

Joyflower 04-11-2012 11:51 AM
