WAY TO GO WUV Your experience and what you share really makes a difference to so many of us. As new "bumps" show up in my IP road, they really don't bother me because I kind of know what to expect thanks to you and so many others sharing their struggles.
And here is an example....I am SO Excited.... :cb: I gained a pound at today’s WI. Ok, that isn't why I'm excited. My coach said I had done really well and many people on IP plateau or gain either in weeks 4-5 or 7-8, but I made it to week 10 before I had a gain. Because so many folks have shared that even being 100%, they sometimes had a gain, the gain did not phase me. :( A little bummed, yes...but no big deal. I looked at my food journal and see some places where I might make an adjustment, but nothing that would have caused a gain. My coach said if I am still in the same place next week, she will have me do one day where I eat whatever I want, then back to 100% next day. Now that part is a little scary :fr: Oh, but here is the part I am excited about...she asked if I would be interested in being a couch for her clinic. She said she was impressed by how knowledgeable I am about the program (thank you 3FC) and that I have stuck with it (Thank you 100% thread). So, I am really excited.... (happy dance for the little lambs...too cute) Congrats everyone on the SV and NSVs. There is so much power on the board!!! |

Evening all, Posted this in the daily thread, thought I would post it here as well
Happy hump day!!! And congrats to everyone on there WI results!!! Had my 11th weigh in today, and happy to announce I lost 4 pounds this week, bringing it to a total of 51 pounds loss since starting ideal protien on Jan 24!!! I have been completely OP for the 11 weeks, without even thinking about cheat, love having my nutritionist and the $$$$ factor to keep me strong I am finally fitting back into my skinny clothes from 2 years ago, have another 12 pounds officially to go, however thing of revising my goal to 158-160, My coach today at the weigh starting talking About phasing off the plan, and swapping the IP breakfast for a normal breakfast, I said I wanted to get to my goal first before phasing off, so now I have to start diving into the life of phase 2 part of the forum Admittily whilst I think this is the best diet since.....errrr....sliced bread, I am looking forward to the maintenance phase where I can have a cheat day once a week. I need to stop looking at restaurant reviews on the urbanspoon iPad app, they make me hungry I just love this diet, while strict the plan is simply and there are no grey areas, it's either you can or you can't, Cheers/S... |

It is funny you mentioned doing phase 3 for the day, cause I was thinking about that, too. My coach has done this with at least one other client and it jumpstarted his losses again. Will have to really discuss it with her. I'm sure you can guess all the food daydreams I was having today :o DH said he was not sure I could eat that much in one day! Not that I would eat all that, but it was kinda fun to think about it. I was wondering if your time on phase 3 put you out of ketosis? No "cheat" day is worth it if I can get the same result from a nice breakfast and stay in ketosis! Thanks for your input!!! |
So here's to splurging while 100% OP :)
One of my favorite foods is a good old-fashioned PB&J. PMS is hitting hard this week and so are the cravings, darn. For my snack tonight I ended up making one large thin pancake from the cold cereal, 2 egg whites, some baking powder, and DaVinci sugar free white chocolate syrup. I spread some WF Peanut Butter and WF raspberry jelly on it, and rolled it up. It was sinfully good and filling, and it took care of those pesky cravings for me. I'm a very happy 100% OP girl right now :) I wouldn't do this every night, but tonight it really helped me out. |
NSV-I finally got my first "WOW, you've really lost weight haven't you?!! How??" And then, I got to share my IP experience. It only took losing over 50 pounds (6 before IP) before someone who didn't know I was dieting noticed. Hmmm.

I had NSV yesterday too. One of my chamber members said "Debbie, you are looking good, you are looking really, really good.". That put a smile on my face. Here is to another 100% OP day.

Wuv that is really wonderful. I know how great it feels to be in charge of your life!
Yesterday I went with friends for a birthday celebration for one of them. As always I was very specific with the waitress. This was a fine dining restaurant with only 4 other people for lunch in the entire place. I ordered a plain lettuce salad with grilled peppers as a treat. I was sooooo specific that if they were unable to grill the peppers in just olive oil then please do not bring them. She assured me it was fine. She brought my tiny little salad :( and said peppers were grilled olive oil only. It was the most amazing taste. I ordered a second as the lettuce seemed like a garnish. This time when I started to eat I caught myself. It was too good. They had used balsamic vinegar on the peppers. I must admit that I nearly burst into tears. I had a bit of an overreaction but I have been so good. Granted it was most likely less than a tablespoon but it nearly sent me into an emotional melt down. Think I am losing my mind! A bit more perspective today. Hang tough all! |
Hey Hey Everyone,
So today my ticker says 2 lbs to goal...woot woot. So happy to see the light at the end of the tunnel. What's funny is that I'm thinking about grilled carrots and onions and maybe some pickled beets! :cp: I don't know if any of you have noticed from my posts, but I'm in TOPS as well, which is part of my maintenance plan. Well, I'm a provincial winner, I've lost the most weight in a calendar year in my division. I am 'required' to make a speech and I'm giving it this weekend to about 500 people during the annual 'rally' for lack of a better word. They asked me for my before picture so I had to go and find one and it SHOCKED me and the VIP...WOWZA such a change. I felt very emotional making the speech, looking back on all the reasons why I decided to finally just be 'DONE' and the day I just "DECIDED"...the day I call "THE EVENT". Truthfully, it's thanks to some very specific people and this board. This is my daily motivation. Thanks for sharing all your ups and downs, we are not in this alone. AWE, I feel mushy now...:grouphug: |
