I am on day two of the diet. Went to sleep at 6pm last night. Very tired and had a foggy head and headache. Today I don't feel much better. Please tell me after about four days I will be feeling better!
Okay, I'm telling you YOU WILL feel better! Tomorrow will be the start of my 4th week so what you are feeling is quite familiar to me. My day two was awful but I can say I started feeling "brighter" about day 4/5. I still experience weakness/shakiness if I don't eat on schedule. So keep going and trust that it will level out soon. Water water water, and your salt! It helps.

I'm new to ideal protein too..
Keep at it. It will come off.
You are right, Sonia, it will come off and the NSV's are as good as seeing the scale move down.

Genie, it does get better. I only had two bad days, and the second day wasn't as bad as the first, more fatigue than headaches. Stick with it, you will be so glad you did!
I just finished making brownies, wild rice soup and home made caramel rolls for my hubby and sons hunting trip. Wasn't even tempted to taste. It's such a good feeling! Put it all in the freezer right away, didn't want to push my luck!
I'm starting day seven today. So far it has gone really well. My biggest issue has been headaches. The sea salt in hand trick has been a real life saver. I'm still terrified of being a slow looser. But at this stage I'll take any weight lose. I noticed that in most signatures people have a 5-10 pound weight lose the first week and I know this is not going to be me. I had to go to my regular doctor yesterday for a follow up visit and was down 3 pounds. My weigh in is tomorrow i'm eager to see what their scales read.
Peggy
Hi Peggy, I'm on week 9. Definitely do not get obsessed with what the scale says. That can be the death of any diet. I felt like this was a diet until about week 5. Then all of a sudden it felt like a lifestyle change. That to me was a far bigger success. I have good weeks and disappointing ones, but on average I lose 3lbs a week. Good luck and I am sure you will do great!
I'm losing my butt too. I couldn't sit for more than 5 minutes on the bleachers at oldest son's soccer practice the other day. It felt like there was nothing between my butt bones and the wood. I've spent most of my life smaller than I am right now. Do I feel it more now because I'm older and everything hurts worse now than when I was younger? Or do your butt bones get used to it eventually? LOL!
Wayward and Paint Lady - you DO get used to the no-padding after a while, trust me! It's pretty strange (and uncomfortable) at first, however you are much healthier without the padding and using a sweatshirt is a much better alternative!!
Great speech Leganegan! Thank you for sharing
2RIDERROLLERCOAST~I did stay very warm today. Canada Post clothes are very good. The bad thing is that most people didn't shovel yet. Can't blame them neither. But very hard to walk through drifts of snow not knowing where the sidewalks or anything were. couldn't finish my route. Hoping for a better day tomorrow. Still had a good lunch though
This has been a GREAT day...and I needed it!!! I had my 12th WI today and I lost 2 more lbs!!! WAHHOOO!!!! I also finally made it into a healthy BMI range!!! I am also only 14 pounds from my goal! I am so excited!!! I have a lot of work to do in order to be at goal by Christmas...but I am going to work really hard to get there!
I am going to start a work out program on Saturday...would start it tomorrow but my DVD is not working. Hopefully the program that I am going to do...Slim in Six will live up to it's name!!!

All you can do is get right back on paln immediately. You can't change what has already happened.
