Nervous about an outing that I have to go to tomorrow night. It is a fundraiser dinner with a buffet. I asked what would be on it and the only answer I got back so far was "some type of chicken" and salad. Obviously that is not all they will have and I am worried about what will be on both the chicken and salad. I am working the fundraiser all afternoon, so have to remember to take my snack and big water jug. I will just have to do my best at dinner and kind of "wing it". I do know this event is known for it's fabulous desserts and that there is going to be a dessert auction too. NOT going near that stuff!! I did not volunteer to make a dessert for auction either as I don't need that type of temptation! I do so much better when I can just stay in my own little plain meat, steamed veggies and salad bubble!

I had a slip up the weekend before last. I drank a bottle of wine over the course of the weekend. I was very fortunate to have still lost 1 lb. So this week, i was so OP drank my water, increased my cardio and i my scale is saying i havent lost any weight. I am so pissed off. I have been trying to hit onderland for 3 weeks and its just not happening!!!
I feel so discouraged, i am not going to cheat or quit, but i am feeling pretty discouraged right now.

Tonight is WI #5. Looking forward to having a great loss.
The outfit I'm wearing to work today should probably be retired. It is HUGE on me. I'm running out of clothes so maybe it is time to see if I can get into any of the 16's in my closet. I was in 20's when I started and they are ginormous on me now and for some reason, I only have 1 pair of 18's in a jean. Might have to make a Kohl's run this weekend if the 16s don't work.
Have a great OP day ya'll!

I tend to keep wearing those clothes that are too big - yesterday my coach told me I might want to stop wearing the shorts I had on cause she was worried they were gonna fall down while walking!! Good luck with your WI tonight!!

Congrats a thousand times over to Wuv! You are amazing and you blew right by the 100 lbs mark. Keep up the good work, you must feel amazing!

Hope all is well with everyone, I have been scarce of the boards lately, really busy, but enjoying phase III alot! I just like burping and farting and being all regular again, it amazes me that just one serving of greek yogurt and 1 serving of berries has me feeling so much better than I did on ph1 &2, not that I felt bad, but definitely had digestive issues. Hope it is not TMI, but I know others have had some issues and I am here to tell you that phase 3 is just wonderless

Good morning everyone!

Another busy day today, parent teacher meetings today for both my kids This takes about 4 hours to meet all the teachers. I think next year I'll just send a note and if there is something that should concern me then I will go in. I had to take a vacation day to be able to go.

It's a beautiful sunny day here in NB, I'm taking my mom out for lunch, her birthday is tomorrow. I'm brave enough to do this now and my salad dressing packed in my purse.

Have a great day everyone, I'll check back later on and see how everyone is doing

It can be very frustrating, but you have to remember you have also started exercising more, you may be gaining muscle. There is a reason they tell you not exercise in the beginning, also it may still be the result of the cheat, it may not effect you the first week but carry on later. Don't get discouraged, we really don't have control of when our bodies decide to flush out the fat, we just have to have faith in the program and continue doing what we are doing.

Kelly, you said it yourself, you had a slip up and just because you lost the week you cheated, it caught up with you. There are many good stickies about the "price" you pay for cheating. This is most definitely a no-cheat diet. You will get back in the losing phase this week for sure, just don't cheat and you will lose.

I hear you Kelly, tonight will be my 4th WI where I'm stuck in the 160's. My body is just not wanting me to get into the 150's for some reason and I've been 100% OP the entire time. We just have to keep our chins up, it's gotta come off eventually. I know it will. Keep it up, it WILL come off.

Good morning all! I get to spend most of the day working at home today--partially by choice and partially because my car is in the shop having the waterpump and fan belt replaced. I'm hoping I'll be able to focus on chores here and getting my school assignments done for the week. I have a feeling that this Exercise Physiology class is going to kick my butt. Right now, I'm just thankful I can eat at home!

For those of you struggling with a weight hurdle, hang in there. We know it works. I think sometimes we just get so worked up about a particular number than it stresses our bodies out.

Have a great day!
