Sara I still have some IP potassium/calcium tablets. The coach said to take one a day at breakfast. They have 800mgs of potassium and 200 mgs of calcium. I will need to look for a pottasium replacement soon. People say that is the hardest suppliment to replace when you go to alternatives.

Pat

holy smokes! I was taking 2 potassium pills = 200 mg

I guess I better take a few more then!

thanks Pat

Having an OP day - even at work... slow day so I am thrilled. But... I am sitting here having my chicken and vegetables.... and can't eat the veggies --- so tired of them - so I am just getting in about a cup of them - had 2c at lunch. Just soooo not appetizing tonight.

Last night I had a dream that someone brought in two boxes of doughnuts to my work and I was trying to figure out ways to take them home so I could eat them. Then I reminded myself that its so not worth it. To stay completely OP. Interesting how my determination is holding even in my dreams. After 4 weeks OP I just need to be more creative with my my meals.

Wow, that's amazing! It really IS all in our mind!! I know what you mean about being more creative with meals. Have your read FinnStevens threads? He also has a FaceBook page. His meal ideas are so creative. Creative and EASY! I am hooked on his Tuna Salad recipe right now. I know some coaches say no, but I do eat tuna packed in water. If you look at FinnStevens threads you will find lots of ways to shake things up. You are doing great, even while you sleep!!

If you can't eat them all at your meal time save them for a snack later in the night when you might get the munchies

Default Busy week even busier weekend

Hello all, I have been out of town since Wednesday arrived home late last night, was up bright and early (630) to go to a dog agility trial with my two dogs, only one competes... she was such a good red dog today... she had fun and was clean on the first run (gamble) but over time and she qualified and placed 2nd in the second run (snooker) then I brought the girls home and went back to help out my friend who is the trial secretary. Tomrrow I am going to have a little sleep in and take the girls for a walk before going to the trial as Red dog has 3 runs tomorrow... It feels so good being able to run beside her and not panting at the end of the run...

I am very excited 2 days and I get to have breakfast with real food instead of a packet. (starting phase 3) Don't worry all you will all be here soon. Wasn't happy about this at first but something happened this week, it just clicked and yes I am not at my goal but I will get there and I am happy to be phaseing off after 9 months and 90 lbs. I went out and bought some breakfast items tonight after agility. Wandered around the store looking for some good fruit and just didn't find anything I wanted to eat yet... maybe monday after my wi I will try again, have to have some for Tuesday.

NSV - so our club have club jackets I have a xl and now with two hoodies and a t shirt it looks so big on me... so I tried on my friend's coat didn't think it would fit but it did with my 2 hoodies on.. and guess what? it was a small, I have never been a small before.
You know it is funny but I was telling my other friend about it and she said "Joanne you are the same size as Brandy now" I guess I must be, I just still feel all the weight still here all invisible but here. We lose so fast on this great diet our minds play tricks on us. I even tried shopping while I was out of town and I would walk into a "normal" store and think people were looking at me thinking why am I in this store... I know I can fit into size 8 but it still scares me to grab a pair of jeans in a real store and try it on... will try again another day, and another and another until I am comfortable going in and grabbing something I know will fit me.

Cat - Big Hug and congrats to you on 50lbs, you go Girl. and I agree with everything you said.

Mom3 - measuring... it appears this is done differently every where too. My friend who did IP and in on maintenance, her coach seemed more accurate that mine. She measures neck, shoulders, bust, ribcage, waist, hips, thigh, calve, ankles, and bicep.

To all you wonderful people working through IP and your weekend, have a great day tomorrow.. I love every minute I get to play with my red dog, and my old girl Jewel... Hope you all find the same joy with your loved ones.

Here is to all the wonderfull nsvs, and svs...

And the sizes really do change that fast. Last week I had to buy a new pair of jeans that I need in two weeks for an event we are planning. When I first started IP I was in a size 24. Last week I went into buy a 22 and the sales lady said she thought a 20 would be fine for me. She even said maybe a 18 might work. I thought no way so I tried on the 20 and they were really snug to zip up. So here I am just about a week later and I tried on the 20's again at home and now they just zip right up. I'm glad I held onto the receipt, because now I'm thinking I just might need those 18's in two weeks.

Yes, the sizes change that quickly. I am sure I skipped size large shirts and just went to medium. I was looking at pics from a couple of weeks ago and the size large shirt I had on looked too big!

Good advice Wuv! I also try to mix up my veggies by sometimes cold ones for lunch and then hot ones for supper. I save my celery and dip them in WF caramel dip for a snack at night when I have the munchies and also for the sweetness of the caramel!

Happy weekend all!

I haven't poseted in about 2 weeks. I just went back to work, doctor gave me the ok, I have been so busy. My computer crashed, took forever to get it fixed, then working again. I feel goodbought a new laptop so I wouldn't have to fight the kids for all the devices. LOL.

So far I have lost 22.1 lbs in 6 weeks and I feel amazing. I have energy and just overall feel good. I haven't felt this good in at least 2 years. Wow...
All of my pants no longer fit (YAY) I wore jeans that used to I found and old pair of pants in my closet last night that I wore out on date night with DH. I went to the bathroom and they just slid down without unbottonning them!! I'm on vacation this week and DH and I are going shopping in the States. I need to get new pants and new bras (the girls are definatly deflating), it'll be nice to see what size now and not and poor fitting H!

Jellymae, I'm definately going to check out Target for jeans at that price, I won't buy too much because I wont be wearing them for too long. And Wuv for shirts for 3.99 at Lane Bryant.

Congratulations everyone to all the SV and NSV. I love ready everything on here, such great motivation.

Take care and have a great OP weekend!

Good Morning all!
Happy Sunday to everyone. Sunday means mounds of washing at my house and scrubbing the bathroom. Not sure why to be honest but the two always go hand in hand LOL. It looks to be another nice day weather-wise, it just takes a while to actually warm up. Diet-wise....meh. I'm finding myself not wanting to eat, anything not just what my options are. I'm a bit of a weird eater in that this isn't unusual for me. I've always treated food as a means to an end not an activity that is to be enjoyed. I make my meals and just sit there and look at them thinking well that's really unappetizing. Just my current mindset and it too shall pass but I am forcing all my requireds down, no need to remind me it has to be done . I'm a good girl even if I don't want to be :P

OOOO my scale shows a bit of a whoosh visit!! Yay!! I had lemon and hot water yesterday as I didn't fancy any of the teas I have, put a little bit of sea salt in the water as well. It wasn't too bad really. Please diet Gods, let me have a good week.

Nothing better than clothes that are now too big. Congratulations on the weight loss so far, great job!
