Lo' and behold, their scale said the same thing. I know alot of the weight is water...but still 9 lbs in three days. Is that even possible?? My official weigh in isn't until Monday, so we shall see.
It's possible. I weighed in at 5days my first week and I lost 14.8lbs

Really, any beverage that has aluminum lining will have heavy metals in them because of the aluminum. (Even juice boxes have aluminum, so the IP ready to serve do as well)

I'm happy with that because the scale hadn't moved until this morning and I was really mad about it and feeling sorry for myself because I did so good staying OP all week despite all the eating, drinking, and parties that were going on during labor day!!! I panicked and pouted for nothing. I've lost 19 pounds in 7 weeks and am still going strong!!! Also, I changed my decade today!!! 149.4!!! Woohoo!!!

On a side note I decided to make big Mac in a bowl for first time tonight and all I can say is YUMMMMMMY!!! WF thousand island dressing is the only one I can stand. It was soooo good. I feel like it was my favorite meal in 7 weeks!!
Awesome!!

Isn't the Big Mac in a Bowl phenomenal? My kids were asking for it again tonight, but I think I'm going to make it like FinnSteven makes it and have hubby grill up some burgers and cut them in big chunks.

I have been eating rotisserie chicken since day 1. I don't eat the skin and I only eat the breast meat.

I would be leery if it says "brown sugar" or "honey" in the name of it. (Here they have brown sugar smoked, garlic and herb, regular, etc)

It's been a long day and I cannot wait to crawl into bed. I done did good. I had backed off my water a bit as I was having issues with LBP but I've been bringing it back up and I'm feeling alright. I hate waiting for the results of my blood work. Has anyone else had issues with not sleeping well? I'm doing alright but I don't think I'm getting quite enough zzz's. Any thoughts?

I have done it. I just make sure to choose "original" instead of one of the flavored ones and the deli I get them from (Wal-mart) uses a nutritional label so I know it has no sugar. I think the concern would be they are high in salt and I am careful to pick around fat and skin.

OK, rotisserie chicken is about as close to "fast food" as you can get on this plan. I have been using them since the start- probably once every 2 weeks and they are a godsend on days when I'm not organized enough to cook (plus my kids love them).
I agree with everyone, don't eat the skin and be prepared that there will be salt in it- most of them sit in brine water prior to cooking. You could always ask for nutritional info or an ingredient list- just to be sure there is no added sugar. I say go for it, but maybe up your water after eating- just to flush the salt out!

my coach said it was fine. just don't eat the skin. At my store they have mojo, BBQ and lemon pepper chicken... if I do buy, I only buy the lemon pepper one. and I only eat the white meat. it might have added salt. so keep that in mind with your daily salt intake. I personally am weird and wouldn't eat it the day before a weigh in just in case there's hidden sodium to retain.

Hi all,
Sorry to give you guys TMI here, but I have been keeping low BP (90s / 50s), and alternating bowel movements (regular stool in the morning, loose watery stools in the late afternoon). Plus there is red blood after the stool (maybe a hemarrhoid). Have to go to the docs. I hope she doesnt ask me to stop the IP Program. Week 3 is OK. Week 2 I didnt lose much, maybe TOM. Lets see.

Good luck to all

I highly suggest you read the book again. He has some good information about phase 4, that I think you may be missing out on.

No, I don't think I am missing anything, just know what works for me and makes me feel good. I feel bloated and crampy from the extra carbs already.
