1st week of IP
 
Let me just say that the first 5 days on IP was hard for me. Hunger pangs, headaches, carb withdrawal etc etc.:bomb: I went into ketosis on day 3 and by day 6 all cravings and hunger was non existent.:carrot: My first WI was yesterday Monday and I was shocked to see the scale a whole 13lbs lighter!!!:dance: 5 days of **** was so worth that number. I know it won't be like that every week but it sure helped justify putting myself through that. Now I find it odd that i'm not thinking about food all day. I love you IP!!! :cloud9:

Welcome and congrats on that first WI! One thing for sure is going through that first weeks makes you think long and hard about cheating so you don't have to go through all that all over again. Sounds like you are on the right track that is for sure!

Today I got weighed in, picked up my food and am ready to start tomorrow. I just went thru and picked out my food for tomorrow.

I'm ready for a tough week, I need to stick to this. My husband Just lost his job, so it would be a real waste of money if I dont. Plus, I know that cheating (I hate that word) sets you back for about three days.

Hopefully, my next post will be just as upbeat!

Welcome, you seem to have everything in order for your first day. Hang in there cuz its going to be rough, maybe not your first day but going through your third and fourth day will be your worse BUT it is all worth it on your first WI.....good luck!

I love those little snacks too, but I would figure why just one, why not 2...I am seeing the trouble with me more and more lately HA HA!!

Brand Spanking New here.... I start IP on 4/9/12 ... Im anxiously excited. I want to be successful at it soooo Im starting to prep my mind and body for the life style change next week. Im drinking more water, Im working on portion control NOW, so my system isnt in shock... My biggest challenge will be portion control and alcohol. Im a proud WINEAUX lol .... but Im sooo looking forward to getting my 1985 fineness back lol. my goal is 50lbs and a new way of "being". Im PSYCHED... not scared at all of the restrictions... just hope my discipline fairy is with me ... Glad there is a forum like this.

I have the freedom to completely concentrate on ME now... kid is 17 and with his Dad and doing well... Recently single... and too cute to be this size.

Sooooo ... Im taking it all in and investing in me... and I expect results from myself lol .

I have a question ... Im a muncher... I much on healthy stuff... Im not a big potato chip, candy soda person. mine is portion and munching all day.

Can you munch on Celery,Cukes, and Lettuce in between the scheduled meals?
