jUST A QUICK NOTE waiting for my DD to pick me up and take me to 2 dr appts. Well, one is just blookwork and they other is my vertigo thing. Should be my last one. Will go by my office since we will have the baby with us.

Crystal, how beautiful. Nine years doesn't seem possible. We love you too. You all are my dearest friends.

Ellen, glad you had a nice time at the reunion. Nothing like a good haircut.

Toni, sorry your ribs were dry. That happens. At least you have some groceries now.

I hnk I have a stupid yeast infection from all this medicine I have added. Go figure. Now I have to deal with that mess. Got to run, she is here.

Okay, made the rice lasagna dish..was okay but a little dry...coming up with my own version next time...I think I will combine ground beef, brown rice(I have to use instant or the family won't eat it), onions, mushrooms, bellpepper, garlic, jar of NSA spaghetti sauce, large can of diced tomatoes, italian seasonings, and raw egg to hold it together and then top with a bag of 2% Italian cheeses. Sound good? But I was still awful this wkend...my fiance made cream cheese cupcakes and we had ice cream and other stuff I'm too embarrased to mention...so looks like I will spend the next few days taking off the wkend weight. We have Boogie's benefit this wkend and I'm hoping we do good..otherwise we will have to take a loan out. Keep your fingers crossed...only 2 weeks until we leave for Philly. Not looking forward to this.

Well, we did not make it to water aerobics. My friend over slept...she got up about ten minutes before the class starts ...not enough time! So we skipped. My other friend came over and brought me two sets of metal shelves to use in my studio. Then she took me to the grocery store. I did not get much...I am hoping to talk another friend into heading down to the farmer's market on Thursday. Busy busy...I just hope Tom has time to start looking for a car soon!

Off to organize ingredients for dinner...

Default Howdy

Just a quick howdy. We had a busy weekend so still trying to catch up with chores and stuff.

HeartMom, praying your benefit goes well so you don't have to take out a loan.

((Everybody))

God bless,
Crystle

I cooked up a storm for dinner! I made Chicken Korma, which is a mild yogurt sauce, Chicken and Spinach curry, which is a dry curry made with ground chicken and has a decided bite to it. Then I fixed eggplant more kazumbhu, a mild yogurt gravy, and chana dal with butternut squash and spinach. I made a lot so I could put a few lunches in the freezer for Tom. He always carries leftovers, and I ran out. I got four lunches for him, so I was happy. There is enough chana dal left for me to have for lunch all week.

I got in touch with my friend and we are going to the Farmer's Market Thursday. Yay!

Its way past my bedtime, so I will say good night!

Hello Ladies!

Just wanted to stop by and say Hi. All is well with me. I finished my challenge at the gym and I won 3 free months.

I am so sorry about not posting here in a long time. Sometimes I get overwhelmed by life and all that I have to do. One committment I am glad
have kept is my workouts. My usband and I travel alot doing conferences and seminars on marriage. We have been so busy lately but I miss posting here and talking with you ladies.

Glad to see you all are doing well.

Solly- I love how no matter what life hands you, you keep going.

Crystle- You gratefulness is amazing. (I love how you aprreciate the small things).

Ellen- You need your own cooking show!!

Toni- I hope all is well with you.

We just got back from Iowa and Nebraska. Have a great day everyone.

Default Good evening

Just a quick howdy. A bit hormonal today. This too share pass.

Ellen, I agree with Mercee. It would be neat if you could share some of your cooking skills. You could start a youtube phenomena.

Thank you Mercee. Woo Hoo on winning 3 months at the gym. That is SO cool.

((Everybody))

Love,
Crystle

Life has been crazy...but what else is new? Had open pool day...medium small turnout, but nice group. Only bad thing all day was my grandson fell off the kiddie swing (he was NOT swinging properly! Just being a little boy) and scraped his chin.

After everyone left, it started raining, and I started cooking red beans and rice to take to potluck at church. It was a small turn out, but I am glad we went.

I went to the market with a friend today. We ate lunch there, and I got tons of fresh veggies and stuff...I love that place! I am fixing tilapia and little new potatoes and fresh spinach for dinner.

Thank you all for your nice comments. I don't think I would do so hot with a cooking show! I have taught cooking classes though and had fun with it. My church did Apples of Gold mentoring for women and I was the kitchen coordinator...that was fun too! I have always loved to cook. Guess its because I love to eat!

Off to get started on dinner!

Hi ladies. Been trying to get my DD packed for Florida all week. They got off around 12:30 so we got a wedding present and came home and cleaned my house. I Paid bills so all I need to do is pack. Probably tomorrow morning. We leave Sunday morning.

Ellen, sorry to hear about your grandson. Boys will be boys. Teaching cooking would be great for you. Check into it.

Heartmom, sure hope the benefit goes well for Boogie. Good luck on surgery I will probably not be back on before then.

Crystal, Take it easy girl, hear you were supposed to get rain.

Mercee, 3 months free is awesome. You did a great job. Have fun on your seminars.

Toni., you must be enjoying your company. Have fun with them.

The tornadoes Wednesday nite were close to our house. There were 3 sets of storms back to back. Luckily I was at bunco having fun with the girls. I will be back around the 4th of July. Going to enjoy lots of good seafood and my grandson at the beach.

Love you guys.

Wow...we have had rain almost every day now for a week. My garden is LOVING it.

I lost my grip on my chef knife the other night and dropped it. I jumped back so it would not cut my foot, but it bounced off the cabinet and hit my foot anyway. Bled like a stuck pig! It hurts, but the cut is not where near as deep or serious as it might have been.

Today I went to a baby shower at the Melting Pot fondue restaurant. They had chocolate fondue and dippers like marshmallows, strawberries, etc. I stuck with the strawberries and bananas, but did have a taste of a few other ones I should have avoided. It was good! But now I have been there and done that...

We went to our grandson's birthday party. They had it early since school starts about when it is and his friends from four year old kindergarten will be going to different schools. They rented a huge bouncy house with a water slide. They had a blast playing in it!

I hope everyone is doing well!
