Red face Bead Diet, weigh-in tomorrow!

Hi everyone, I go in tomorrow to get weighed in and get my new beads. I behaved today and pulled a milk day...will let you know my results....Keep going everyone, once we finish this diet, we are DONE!!!!

Default Down 4 lbs!!!!

OK I'm happy, I'm down 4 lbs...not bad...I am setting short goals for myself, so I can stay on track. I'm going to see my BFF this coming Tuesday, so I want to try to be down about 8 lbs.

One of the things today's doctor said to me was --

What is your WHY. WHY do you want to lose the weight. The WHY is what will stop you from putting the extra food in your mouth and keep you on plan.

I didn't have an amazing answer. Right now I just want to fit in a ride next to my kids at the amusement park. My WHY is that. Also, that I know I'm just too big.

To be fit by 40 (next March)
To date and feel attractive again.
To be healthy...and DANG get into a single digit size LOL

Down 5 lbs last week. Just keeping focused.

OnegroovyChick, I'm with you on being fit by 40. I just want to get this weight down and back to where I was feeling better. Not skinny, but just comfortable. I feel my bones "creeeeek" when I get up....never used to happen.... Your goal of single digit...I've never been a single digit in my life. That sounds surreal to me. What ever I can do to help you get there, I will do it!!! 5lbs down, that's GREAT news!

Prettyinpink116, you are an inspiration, how often do you change the beads? every 7 or 10 days?

Today I sauteed spinach and mushrooms and poured a little of Braggs on it...
I slice some avocado and voila, a quick and tasty meal....

awwwwww thank u BrillanteLuna70 & congrats on your -4lbs! & I love that "WHAT IS YOUR WHY? That's actually very clever & gives me something to ask myself when my boyfriend is eating amazing smelling food in the other room!! LOL! & my favorite recipe is my cauliflower rice. I posted the recipe on the page before this one I beleive page 8. That & plantains pan fried in olive oil cooking spray & avocado with tomato,lime & salt. YUMMM!

onegroovychick thank u!! You're doing great too!! & The cauliflower rice...I hope you like it!! I know I will be eating that on every single one of my veggie days b/c I love it that much! LOL I even have to make extra b/c my boyfriend loves it too! Which is amazing b/c he doesn't like any veggies except corn & broccoli covered in butter! Uhhh wish I had his metabolism lololol.

Well definitely lemme know what you think & if you have any tips to make it taste better or any other yummy recipes in general!

Hi all! I had been reading this thread and just joined.

I got my first beads yesterday and had an ease-into-today which is a milk day. I planned for this and I am excited about losing the extra weight. I would like to lose 20 lbs. by Labor Day but it seems ambitious. I am flying cross country to go on a hiking camping girl's weekend for a few days in August. The only saving grace is that my hosts are vegetarians. Look forward to being a member of this group.

Hello everyone!
I just started the program yesterday. I'm looking to lose about 30lbs. This thread has truly been motivational, it's was got me to finally get going and stop procrastinating. Reading about everyone's progress keeps me focused.

lasekou DON'T WORRY it does get better! After getting through the 1st week, the rest is a breeze & the weight comes of so fast it'll be even more motivation to stick to it and not cheat! Were all here if you need help or advice!

Thanks again. I'll need all the motivation and advice I can get. Reading your blog was a big help. I don't think I'm as lucky as you, losing 10lbs in 3 days. I still haven't weighed myself, I'm going to wait until Friday. Hopefully I'll be at the 10lb benchmark (fingers crossed).

Thanks everyone for the welcome! I had my first day away from home and as I am only on my third day since getting my first set of beads I wasn't sure how I was going to cope. I did manage lunch in a deli with plain yogurt and an iced tea. I have no urges or hunger which I think is good but the yogurt was disgusting and expensive to boot!

I weigh every morning to keep myself honest. I also need to be careful about drinking too much caffeine at night.

I know I will make this first week, I don't want to blow what I have done so far!
