I'm with you, Irish. I had a feeling when I saw her start to cry that Anthony would be out because people would feel bad for her. I do like Vonzell, but Anthony kicked butt on Tuesday and deserved to stay. I'll miss him...he reminded me of blonde Harry Potter. My mom and my DD are bummed. I was hoping the final 3 would be Carrie, Bo and Anthony. Then I don't care from there...it seems like the final three is the goal.
Oh...well...If Vonzell gets to stay next week and either Bo or Carrie get bumped before SHE does, I'll be REALLY mad!! Did you see Carrie tell Anthony she loves him? I wonder if they're dating or just really close friends...I thought it was nice that she cared so much.
I firmly believe that the final two should be Bo and Carrie. I wish Vonzell well, but I don't think she's as good of a singer as the other two, and I think Bo or Carrie could provide a refreshing, new sound as an Idol winner. However, remember what happened last year - some of the best singers were voted off leaving one strong and two weak voices as the final three.
I thought Vonzell might be the one voted off because her first song was terrible! I think she got some sympathy votes! Anthony was the only one who really nailed both songs, I thought, and he got voted off...which I kind of figured he would since I knew he would be either third or fourth to get voted off. Everyone else had one good song and one bad song. I loved Bo's version of "For the Love of Money"!!! Of course, didn't like his country song at all but he wasn't bad...never really is. Carrie was terrible on "If You Don't Know Me By Now" even if the accompaniament was off, that was not a good choice for her.
There's a "conspiracy theory" over on the idolonfox.com web-site that proposes the reason people are voted off is because the light that is shone behind them is red, while the light shone behind all the others is blue.
That was 1st brought out when Constantine was kicked off, but has proved "true" since then. Scott's light was red, as was Anthony's.

Vonzel should have been gone weeks ago...well before Constantine and Anthony...she reminds me of Fantasia and we all know how bright her light shines! This year we need a true American Idol...like the first season produced!

OK who got goose bumps when Bo did the acapela(sp?)song???? I also started tearing up. *sniff* Bo was AWESOME tonight, every single judge, yes even Simon, said he was gonna win this competition!
I'm torn, though, because I really love Carrie. Bo is just such a star, though. So is Carrie, though. I don't know...all I know is that baby V had better not have knocked off Carrie tonight. I voted for Carrie about 15 times...only because the phone lines were wide open! I know, I've said that people shouldn't be able to vote more than once, but I was actually seeing how often the line would be busy, hoping that lots of people are voting for Carrie and clogging the lines. I hope that's not a bad omen!!
Yea Bo's first song was AWESOME !! But you know I just have to say this, not to be critical, BUT I have to point this out to see if I'm the only one that sees this...Do you not think the guy needs teeth whitener or something, his teeth are yellow compared to everyone else's like Carrie's teeth are super white ...He must smoke ... He should be told really... Or is it just me
Yes...I admit...I noticed that, as well. With the obvious make overs everyone's had, I'm suprised nobody's done something about it for him. It's about his only icky quality. It makes him look like he has bad breath...even though in reality, the color of your teeth has no determination of weather or not you have halitosis... It's just a visual.

Loved his performance... Carrie was just okay, not great. Bo is now my pick to win, but one week can change everything!

I never paid attention to Bo's teeth. My mother has yellow teeth, nothing, and I do mean NOTHING, whitens them. She was born with them and, apparently, will die with them. So maybe it isn't something that can be done for them.
Carrie is alright. She is too country. Everything she sings comes out country, which is alright, IF you like country. Vonzelle, well, she needs to leave, tonight!
