That's scary seeing something like that. He initially lost consciousness but was alert when he left the ballfield.

They're saying that it was a whiplash injury.

HOME SWEET HOME!

Well my DODGERS set the National League record for the most wins in a row to start the season at home...yesterday's win makes it 11-0 Also giving them the best record in baseball, thanks to Big Bird's loss....( sorry kid)....but happy for me

Feeling groovy right now...but I also know those snakes started out 20-8 last year only to lose to us in the end....it's a long season.

MANNY MAGIC sure has been fun.

Nice win for you last night COLORADO D!....just when those pesky padres thought they had it....slam!!

I was watching that game...I yelled so much my wife thought the LAKERS had finally done something good...nope

Late win NATION...who stayed up?

I just watched the Ankiel's "face plant" on espn BIG BIRD... ouch

Reports are he is fine...but obviously shaken up. Could have been much uglier...good thing he got his hands on the wall first!

I was a little shocked at the Lakers! I'm sure they'll come through. I really want to see the Nuggets play the Lakers. (and hopefully beat them...)

Clydegirl... thank goodness he'll be ok... there is nothing worse than that gasp of silence and dread in the park when someone gets hurt and worse to see the ambulance put in...

Red Sox Win... I stayed up ... and felt like I 'played' that game this morning trying to get up for work. I've got to go check the weather ?? rain again tonight... another delay...

Gary you guys are on a roll..... its so much fun... keep up the streak... we'll see you in October...

You are absolutely right Clydegirl... the season is shaping up nicely isn't it...

Good idea Bill... make the reservations early...

We are in NY again tonight... in the 9th and winning 6-3... been raining since 5th. Joba the punk... I mean Chamberlain, intentionally threw at Jason Bay tonight after Bay hit a 3 run homer. We have Dennis Eckersley in the booth, his opinion was that it was intentional. I thought we were in for a brawl... but game too close to retaliate... I'm sorry... but that kid just rubs me the wrong way... Torre wouldn't have put up with this stuff...

Yes Gary... but I hope you guys aren't 'peaking' too early... we are in a nice comfy #2 spot, no pressure ....
