Lost 2 to the Phillies grr. Now 2 against Pittsburgh. A thorn in our side recently.

Weaver is an ex-DODGER too...and Mariner...and Angel...and Yankee....and Tiger...

I was not that thrilled to pick him back up to tell you the truth. He was a .500 pitcher when he was here for 2 years. He was brought up for long relief...which is OK...out of necessity he was made a starter...right now, with his last 2 outings....I am taking back my disgust for him

Gary... that pic is hysterical, please tell me they were 'warming up' in some fashion.. friends that have sat on the monster and lower bleaches got a kick out of outfield players warming up in some pretty funny positions with their butts to the seats..

I'm heart-broken right now... they just announced that Jerry Remy will take an extended leave of absence to recover from 'cancer' surgery.. He made a direct statement to RSN that this was a direct result of smoking so I'm guessing its lung cancer... The boards are jammed, can't even get on to get details... I'm bummed... But you can't ask for a better place to treat cancer than Boston... Prayers please...

Oh, they were "warming up" all-right But hey, whatever works to beat the yanks 5 straight! Oh, and don't feel to bad for Angie..."peaking early" gives her plenty of time to finish her crossword puzzles or hit the yoga mat again before bed.

Jerry Remy does have lung cancer...so sad.

I got to 2 of the 3 yanks games last weekend here, and I have tix Friday night...YAY.
