Golf Course Fowl

hmmmmm.... golf course ducks. Around here they wouldn't have a chance because of the Canada Geese that dominate the golf courses and leave behind mucho geese poop. There is a school to train dogs to chase Canada Geese, but it takes a while and is expensive for a small course.

392 to go. We broke the 100 barrier unremarked.

BillBlue- I wouldn't put it to the test, they probably do but at the risk of hitting your neighbors? Ehhhhh not so much, unless they neighbors can't stand them either and wouldn't mind you pointing a gun near their house.

Hi everyone! Just had to share this picture that I just took of Pikes Peak from my front porch! It was just too pretty with the sun shining on it!! I just had to share. We have "Black Squirrels" here that raid our bird feeder! They are pretty but annoying!

Oh no. Mine have been known to dump my $$$ lotions and shower gels out... in the toilet.

Nice picture! I'm over here in Canon City, visiting my parents. I live over on the other side of the mountains normally.

No squirrel stories to share... darn.

I did that to my sister once--pumped her entire bottle of Jergens into the toilet. Boy was she steamed!

When my nephew...the one home from NAVY basic training right now, was about 2 years old I babysat him for the week-end while his mom and dad, my brother, went to see the Philadelphia Eagles play in Arizona. He wet his diaper, I put him on the floor, put a new diaper under him...powder him, set powder down while I went to secure diaper and whammo! the kid picks up the bottle and floods his face with baby powder! Hilarious.

Good morning all! Beautiful day today. Seemed a little quiet on here, so thought I'd add a post.
Operator, are you working some long hours?

alinnell 12-30-2008 11:00 AM

Isn't it amazing how a good night's sleep makes you feel so much better the next day?

jules1216 12-30-2008 11:28 AM

my hubby's sick so he was snoring and making all kinds of strange noises all night long so I am REALLY tired this morning!!

(I guess it's payback from me keeping him up last week when I was sick with the same thing!!)

Slash-Good to hear you're safe and sound. Xmas night was vicious at work. Nothing moved all night. We had a ZERO load count.

We did Xmas on the 27th, so it was run like crazy, set everything up on the 26th. Cook like crazy destroy the housework I spent all my time on the week before on the 27th. Clean like crazy try to recover on the 28th, then back to work last night.:faint:

I used to mix "potions" out of my mom's toiletries. Made her insane. I should have become a chemist. Maybe I will someday when I grow up.

alinnell 12-30-2008 04:47 PM

I used to make "soup" in the sink with all the peelings of vegetables when my mom was cooking.

It takes a lot more to entertain a child these days.
