Now I begin my debate of the evening, stay here on the couch and watch or go out and watch.

Hmmmm, I think I'll go out, if they win and I'm home on the couch that will be somewhat anit-climactic!!!

I agree Joanne, but it looks like they got it killed this time. Even as I'm watching, bottom of the 9th, 4-3, 1 out, I still have high doubt that they'll tie or even lead in time.

Oh wait, now 2 out because Jacoby's so awesome...

Can someone else recommend another sport for me to watch after this season ends? I need more excitement from my TV now that I can't jog at night since its cold...

There's a dull roar here 10 miles outside of Boston from all directions and about 100 people outside of the campus center passing around cigars and champagne.

I just wish the game had been at Fenway!

I think Lowell is MVP, well deserved.

I just got home, the city is insane, it was like a wall of people walking up my street.

Did that really just end that badly ?

No, I don't know anyone that is devasted over this... I'm not completely convinced that was actually the Rockies in the WS. What a great run!!! Have fun Bosox fans!

Congratulations to the Red Sox! They played well and deserved the win.

Just so very proud of the Rockies! They accomplished a lot this year and made for an exciting post season for us.

Had a lot of fun with this thread, everyone! On to football and basketball!!

What an awesome couple of weeks this has been. Of course, I have been watching them all season long...so this is that much better!!

Couldn't be prouder of my team and especially my fave Mike Lowell <wolf whistle>. Leave it to a Yankee to try and insert themselves into the Red Sox spotlight. Didn't work....We don't care where A-Rod goes as long as it isn't BOSTON!!

Could Jacoby's smile have shown any brighter? How cute was Dice-K when he hit that 2 run RBI Saturday night? He was so proud of himself and I think everyone was in shock! LOL!

Ahh well...we will bask a bit longer in the warm glow of our team's victory. The Rockies are a great team and I think they will be playing some games in October next year as well.

Next up FOOTBALL!! GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
