Another wedge. Yesterday I had leftover chicken, mushroom, artichoke, roasted red pepper, basil, and capers with mashed cauliflower.

I was hungry!

I had a weekend out and about and didn't cook at all, so I didn't have anything prepared.

I had two eggs, and my daughter stole one...

I went to Carb City this weekend for breakfast:
Saturday - bakery sourdough slice with Irish butter and pear/limoncello butter (homemade)

Sunday - one slice of pumpkin French toast to use up stale sourdough w/local maple syrup

I always have eggs for breakfast. It isn't always eaten early in the morning. Sometimes it's closer to noon, but it's always eggs and I consider it breakfast, the first meal of the day. And I make them similar to Munchy's fritattas with various things mixed in. Mushrooms, broccoli, spinach, shredded brussels sprouts, depends on what I have on hand. No cheese, though. Although I like cheese, I don't like it paired with eggs.

The weekend is usually the only time I venture away from a mostly-egg burrito. Yesterday, I had some homemade goetta (a Cincinnati thing). Today I had a little piece of steak with a fried egg and goetta.
