Vanilla whey shake with a lot of Taster's Choice instant;
omelet with 1 egg/1 egg white/salsa
water 3 glasses
will have black coffee 1 cup out the door

Feeling full but if I don't have the canteloupe, I'll be too hungry to make to lunch. Maybe i'll nibble it on the way to work.

Pattience-I'm not sure what bushwalking is haha For me, hiking is out in nature just trekking along...hmm not sure how do describe it! Often I'm in the mountains, or climbing mountains. For my short hikes I go out into the hills near my house and just focus on speed since they're usually only an hour. I'll include some pics I guess of areas I often go. I love hiking, mountain climbing, and backpacking. Your trip to the Himalayas sounds amazing! Definitely on my to do list to go hiking there I'm heading out on a backpacking trip this summer to the Eastern Sierras. Every year I go on a backpacking trip. My goal is to do a peak over 12000ft since 12000ft is the highest I've gone. You should go out hiking soon if you get a chance, I bet there are many beautiful hiking places where you live

Speaking of hiking, yesterday did a 3 hour, 7 mile hike up San Jacinto. You take a tram car from Palm Springs and I have a summer pass and after a short ride you're out of the desert and up in the mountains. I went to this place called Wellman's Divide that has a great overlook and is at 9700. The trail starts at 8500, then dips down to 8000 before climbing to 9700. I'm getting used to altitude which is good so it was easier than last time. Every summer its a little annoying to have to get acclimatized again.

Breakfast:
2 eggs
2 slices daiya
1 avocado
1 heirloom tomato
1 tbslp balsamic
.5 tblsp kerrygold butter
Sriracha drizzled on top

Was feeling a -3 and ended at a +3

Dotti, yes your hiking, is definitely what i call bushwalking. I was just trying to see if you meant "a walk".

Anyway if you've got time and feel like it this description you've given and your shots, is exactly what i am trying to get people sharing on the thread i started yesterday in the exercise forum. I'd love to hear more about people's outdoorsy adventures like you are doing. And i can share mine when i do them, which is going to be a lot less often than you. but part of the idea is to try to inspire others a bit too.

My brekky

-3 especially after chasing the cat all over the block this morning to get his surgical collar back on.
fried egg sandwich like this

piece of ciabatta bread
little bit of butter
egg fried in about 1 tsp olive oil
sliced and fried tomato that i flavoured up with dried oregano
few fresh basil leaves
black pepper

large serve of rock melon

coffee milk x2
+3

I am eating less between meals since i started this. Partly i am doing a bit less, partly because there's no bananas in the fruit bowl, but partly because i am monitoring my appetite better.

^ spinach, egg, and ham muffins sound pretty yummy. I always wanted to try making some of those breakfast egg muffins, but always wondered if they would taste as good as they look.

Today, chocolate belvita biscuits and some cherry limeade sparkling ice.

The hunger satiety ratings for use. Aim for 2s and 3s for most meals. to avoid overeating. Do it for every meal and snack.

Hunger
-4 - ravenously hungry and I could eat anything right now
-3 - very hungry and i'd like to eat something substantial now
-2 - quite hungry and i'd like to eat something now, perhaps a snack or a light meal
-1 - a little bit hungry and i'd be comfortable to wait a while before eating.
0 - Not hungry and i'm not hungry at all.

Satiety
+1 unsatisfied - I still feel a bit hungry and i'd gladly eat something else right now
+2 just satisfied - My body is relaxed and comfortable and if i ate any more, I would still feel comfortable, but i don't need any more.
+3 Elegantly satisfied - My body is relaxed and comfortable and if i ate any more i would begin to feel over full.
+4 over satisfied - I know in my heart of hearts that i've eaten more than my body wants and i feel uncomfortable.

67.4kg this morning.

-2
water
Coffee milk
decent size piece of paw paw
water
ciabatta with modest butter, vegemite (yeast spread)
coffee milk
+2

I wasn't sure that this bread would be enough but i am good now.

I feel i am sleeping so much at the moment. I must be a little depressed or getting over a dip in seratonin levels from some recent stress and disappointments. Not to mention my procrastination issue. After talking to my psychologist on Tuesday i decided i'm going to take a break from the markets until september at which time I will try to get back into it. Not sure where i should post this. Probably in the depression support threads. Anyway i felt like i needed to share.
