KDM322 - Fankly, I can't stand Level 2 so there was no way I was going to do more than ten days. Don't let Level 3 freak you out. I feel it's not that hard as Level 2 but you do get a good workout. I would just go on to Level 3 so you won't get discourage.
Thanks for the advice Niecey! I looked up the moves for L3 and they don't appear to be THAT much worse! I mean, the jumping squats and rockstar whatevers will probably be a killer, but I agree with you...I"m going to move on
Did L1/D8 yesterday. It has gotten so much easier, for sure! Haven't really needed to stop...although I do pause during the push-ups once or twice
I'm sort of frustrated because I can't seem to get past 193lbs! It's been a couple of weeks, plus the video, and it just won't budge. I really want to try to be in the 180's by June. ::sigh::
Any tips?

Ok, just finished L1D3, and owwwwww!! That was twice as hard as yesterday! Do the pushups ever get easier? I'm not even doing real pushups!! Agh, I'm such a wimp. I woke up with a super stiff neck/shoulders this morning, actually thought about skipping today to "avoid injury"... but I did some stretches and decided it's not an injury, just soreness. I need to add a few more stretches in beforehand, I think.
Man, this is a good workout! Level 2 scares the bejeebus out of me!
I know, I'm moving on to L2 in two days and I'm kind of nervous! I do the fake push-ups too, and they're still hard. Can't even imagine following 'Natalie' with the real ones. PS: Natalie cheats in level 2!!!
Haha, I'm going to have to look for the cheating. I usually ignore the TV screen and just recite JMs lines with her.
I finished level 1 and have done level 2 for 2 days now. Level 1 definitely got easier by the end, though I was still working hard. I can't do all the moves in level 2, I follow along as best I can but end up doing fewer reps of each move because I have to pause and not die and I literally drip sweat on the floor.
Should I keep doing level 2 and assume that by day 10 it'll be doable? Or is this a sign that I'm not ready for level 2 yet and should spend some more time on level 1?
Yeah, I seen a lot of cheating going on...lol Even Anita and she does the easier moves...hee hee
Transformer - Just keep going. It will get easier. I think we all have those moments when it seems like we're not going to make it but then realize it's doeable. Just do what you can and move on. Now that I'm doing the Slimdown challenge, which is much harder, I can definitely say the 30 day shred prepared me for it.
I second that - some days you just cannot do everything, but you have to just try and carry on as best as you can. Jillian does say that if you need to break, take five seconds, but no more. I'm not in too bad shape and occasionally I have a bad day or I'm tired and I just have to stop that extra few reps before the others do, but I'm certainly not going to beat myself up about it!

Okay, thanks Niecey and Belease. Will keep going with level 2 for now and not worry too much about not being able to keep up. Hopefully I'll notice some improvement soon.
(No weight loss at all yet despite 12 days of calorie counting and 30DS. Fingers crossed for next week.)

Transformer, 30DS doesn't actually burn very many calories (only about 140 for me), so depending on how many calories you're eating, you may want to incorporate some more cardio-like activity elsewhere in the day. I try to make sure I go for a long walk, swim, play a little tennis, etc. I'm doing 30DS to try to build some muscle mass and tone up some, and I can't see how it couldn't work, I'm really feeling it in my arms and abs.
My arms are starting to get muscly now, I'm not sure I really like it! I might try using lower weights or something. I wouldn't mind getting some of those muscles to replace the fat in my bum!
I did day 28 today, and it really kicked my *** - my sight was going grey doing the pushups and stuff at the end!
