Ugh - back to 141! How did I gain 2 lbs in one day? I was sick yesterday and didn't eat much, just chicken soup... maybe the sodium? Anyway, I was very bummed when I got on that scale.
EmmaD - I feel ya, losing 5 pounds is 100 times harder than gaining it. |

Fun to see more activity on this thread! While I'd like to be moving on from here soon, I dare say I should get comfortable and settle in for a bit. So looking forward to sharing with everyone here. I haven't posted in a week or more as I spend more time on 3FC on my iPad - and haven't been able to post from it. Does anyone?
While I technically made it to 144 around the end of the month, I did buy a new scale plus I decided to go back to weighing without clothes, so only a small drop really. |

I am so mad at myself that the joy of "being in the 130s" recently didn't keep me from binging/overeating. I am considering making my actual goal "the 130s" (it was always my red-line goal), as in 139.8 or below. I don't feel like I am asking for much... until the last few years, 125-135 was normal... WHY is it so hard to lose 5 freaking pounds? waaaaaaaah :cry: :cry: :cry: I have been working on losing 10 pounds since May 1, and the last 5 pounds has taken nearly 3 months and counting. But that 5 pounds really does make a huge difference on me - the difference between 90% of my clothes fitting and not, the difference between a huge belly roll and not - so I don't want to give up ... yet. If it's just not in my future or it's unacceptably difficult to get there I will have to come up with other non-scale goals. |
Hello all! RawrGirl is new to 3FC and can only hope she is the 140's (she refuses to get on the scale). Her normal weight is 155, though she's been as high as 170. And 2 years ago, she managed to reach her goal of 129 only to start gaining it back since February. When she can fit into her black jeans again (which were too baggy to wear at 129) she will get on the scale. She thinks fitting into those pants will put her around 138. So that's her goal for the moment.

I've been MIA. I got stuck in that mess at OHare on the 16th and haven't signed in since. I was afraid to step on the scale but I forced myself today. I'm still 149. Hurray for that!
