Morning!

Lisa - Are you cutting out fruits or just snacky snacks? Sometimes those low calorie desserts (skinny cow) just make me end up wanting more sugar!!

Pink runner - good luck on your interview! Whats the job for?

Turbo - I try to eat very little sodium. So nothing that is processed. Maybe if I just stop thinking sooo much about it I will loose!

On wednesday I usually run on the treadmill and watch the Biggest Looser, it makes the miles pass by. This morning I skipped the run and just did free weights while watching BL. I am not in LOVE with this season but still feel the need to watch it....just like I feel the need to watch anything reality!

This weekend my husband, 2 doggies and I are going to Palm Springs for a mini getaway. I'm excited!

Alexis - I forgot to reply. I drink a TON of water and a lot of decaf tea! I drink no less than 64 ounces of water, 2-3 cups hot tea and one cup ice tea.....and I am peeeing constantly. (TMI i know)

Still 130.8 this morning, so I'm calling that officially 131

Quit the red bull today. Cold turkey. And I am sooo tired. had a powernap but it did not work. I know I'll feel like crap for a few days. Hate it!

Just got a pint of Haagan Daz Spiced Caramel Biscuit for myself.

At MOST a teaspoon a day, is what I tell myself (and ice cream isn't one of my trigger foods, I don't think).

It's absolutely luscious...I'm amazed and delighted by my ability to control myself around decadent foods this time around. I feel so....free, I guess?

Hang in there philana! I haven't even begun to address my caffeine dependency but I know it won't be fun.

JoJoP Congrats on being officially a pound lower! I know what you mean about being able to control yourself around sweets. I can do that too (except w/brownies) and it feels incredibly liberating to know you can stop!

LoveSweetsCA Hope you have a great getaway. I think it's interesting that BL inspires you, watching that would make me feel less driven to push myself since I don't have 200 lbs to lose!

pinkrunner115 Glad your weight is more stable (and down) lately. How did your interview go?!

LisaTcan Best to you for cutting those out! I try to every so often but can't seem to...

TurboMammoth Snowshoeing is a big calorie burner! Enjoy the reunion and fondue party. I was supposed to start snowshoeing this winter but we've had no snow at all yet and it's nearly March...

Alexistrophic That'll be an interesting exercise in control. Eating out of boredom and between meals can be brutal. Good luck!

Are you quitting just red bull or all caffeine? Are you feeling any negative effects from caffeine?

I NEED coffee . I haven't felt any negative effects from it...I don't think?

Hey All,

I hope you don't mind if I join you. I have used 3fc off and on for a few years and it has helped me considerably... I haven't been watching my food or exercising and have gained 20lbs over the past 8 months and need to get it off pronto. A little bio: I'm 36, married with a 4 y/o daughter. I work full time and run as my main exercise (when I do it) - I just started running again yesterday. Lost 16lbs last year running 3 days a week and watching my calories so that's my plan for this year. Only this year I plan to continue instead of stop and gain more than I lost...

Good luck everyone!
Amy

Had mall Chinese food last night - all non-fried chicken and veggies. Calories weren't out of control but I drank at least 1.5 liters of water and peed once...talk about water retention, heh. Scale reflected this - 131.0 this morning and I felt huge. I tried on BIKINIS right after dinner too, what a dumb move.

Hey all!

shrinkingamy : welcome aboard!

krampus : congrats on avoiding the fried food, but salt is always harder to avoid... and OH god trying on bikinis! that's always end up being a nightmare for me. Did you find something cute?

***

The boyfriend is still away, so last night I treated myself with stuff he doesn't like (and refuse actually) to eat : black bean (his nightmare) and corn enchiladas. I also made some hummus by myself for the first time, and I'm really happy about it, it tastes really good! So I'm enjoying beans and chick peas while he's away LOL

It snowed ALL NIGHT LONG (great surprise this morning) so tonight I'll have an extra workout to add with my hockey game consisting with shovelling our 25'x25' patio (my bf's job, usually). It's all wet and heavy snow, can I count it as weight lifting?? hihihi

I hope you're having a great day! Friday is almost here! yay!!

I hate bathing suits. I'm not bikini material but I feel like tankinis and one-pieces are too frumpy/conservative.

TurboMammoth "Me Time" in terms of food is the BEST EVER. My parents don't like healthy food so when I moved out I went crazy with cooking. Snow, ugh, but shoveling is a pretty powerful workout.

ShrinkingAmy Welcome! 3x/week should be doable to keep up on a permanent basis. Glad to have you here. We can all keep each other somewhat accountable.

Uhg, I've not been able to get back on track since the carnival. I felt so ick for 2 days after, then I started the red bull / caffeine withdrawal and am basically trying to eat my headache away.

I need to get back on track. The annoying thing is I'll do fine all day and then eventually end up eating 1 piece of candy. Then 2, and before I know it I've walked over the cupboard for my 10th piece. My mom shouldn't buy my favorite candy. ARGH. lol.

Hey gals...

Krampus - Sometimes I put my bathing suits on and see what I really look like...it gives me a reality check!

Philana - I used to drink SO much caffeine...at least 16oz in the morning and then a mid day coffee and tea. I also sometimes would have a diet soda in the evening. I decided to start decreasing my caffeine consumption slowly. I started with half/caf in the morning and drank tea during the day. NOW - I drink about 4oz of regular coffee with as much decaf as I want and decaf everything throughout the day.

Worked out this morning with my good friend. I did that stair climber for 30 minutes and went so hard at the end I was sick after! That never happens so it was weird. I did another 25 minutes on the elliptical and chatted with my friend. I feel so good after a very hard workout so it was worth it.
