I was 140.0 this morning, which makes me pretty happy because yesterday my fiance and i splurged on mcflurry's and pizza. I had hit 138.8 yesterday morning, which had me pretty excited. It means within the next couple days, as long as im extra good, i will definitly be out of the 140's. FINALLY. haha guess i shouldnt celebrate just yet, but i feel like im so close. Plus i keep trying on clothes from last summer (when i hit 127) and while they are still tight, they are almost wearable. 132-135 is when i had started buying smaller clothes, by 127 my clothes were getting loose on me. It makes me all feel so close but i know i have a lot of hard work ahead of me. It's super difficult to find time to go to the gym these days, but after this week ends ill have a little extra money and we can buy the finace a gym membership so i can drag his butt with me every night. I think that will make the biggest difference. For now i'm doing all that i can. Here's to being in the 130's soon :hat: |
double post since no one else posted the past couple days :P
i went out drinking with the girls last night. MISTAKE :( 143.1 this morning. I know that logically its mostly just my body retaining water from the alcohol (and cookie dough >.>) but its stuff frustrating to be stuck in the 140's! Goal for this week is to start counting calories and get down into the 130's for sure. Its super frustrating because i look at my body and i feel like parts of me are definitly getting slimmer, but im not far enough to where i see the difference on the scale. But the scale jumps around so much. I need to find a good measuring system. Hope you ladies are doing great. Hoping this is my last week in this thread :) |
I'm currently at 142.5lbs. I really want to get below 140, as this will bring me to a total weight loss of 2 stone (28lb). I also want to see my stomach, bum and thighs get smaller. I'm pear-shaped, so most of my weight is below the waist; at the moment, I have a skinny top half and a bottom half that looks sevearl months pregnant!

Hi ladies! I'm back to 3FC after over a year off. According to my old ticker, I had just gotten out of the 130's last time I was here, and now I'm struggling to get out of the 140's. :( To be fair, I've gained a lot of strength/muscle since then, but I'm still much heavier than I'm happy with (my goal is 115).
I'll probably be out of the 140's pretty soon so I debated whether to even post here, haha. Starting yesterday I'm lowering my calories, and lowering my carbs so it'll be easier to handle (less hunger and no blood sugar swings). The water weight loss from low-carb will probably get me out of the 140's very quickly. |
Its HUGE motivation to read a post I added over a month ago weighing in at 139 and I am 140.8 as of today. It means Ive been yo-yoing for 30 days when I should've been at the very LEAST 5 lbs lighter by now. Gotta get it together... :tantrum:

Weighed this am at 141.8. Ugh it feels like I was at 142 forever so it was good to see a 141 even though it was a .8. It is taking me forever to lose weight now. I have no clue why as I still have 29 more pounds to go until my goal weight! I recently invested in a bodybugg though and I see that my metabolism is much slower than I would have imagined. Also my job is really sedentary so it has given me the motivation I need to get up and move around more! I hope I succeed with it!

When I first posted in this thread I was 140.6 or something, then I had a few bingey days and jumped back up to 143. Now I'm 140.2... SO CLOSE to getting out of the 140s! :)

I just got back into the 140s on Sunday - currently at 148. I'm praying I can stick with it!! Trying my best to stay away from anything that'll derail my progress.

CLEARLY we are at a tough weight. I feel that these 140ish to upper 120's/lower 130's is the HARDEST TO LOSE!!
It's nice to hear from people in the same boat. I can't pretend I'm extremely strict with myself, but I do want to lose weight in such a way that it is a lifestyle and not a diet. And, recently, it's just not working. And, I am fairly healthy (eating wise). I could exercise times a week but...that's another story. So happy about this thread and looking very forward to more posts with some helpful hints. Anybody try any supplements? I've been hearing a lot about Sensa and i've always been curious about healthy trim or quick trim. Any thoughts or opinions? Anyway.... |
Down to 141.5 now. Hoping the numbers keep going down & that I will be in the 130s soon. I am about to start my TOM so I don't think I am going to weigh myself til its over.. lol

im back up to 144! i have no idea why i took such a big jump. i was 138 last week, then it went up to 142 after a night out. I thought it was prolly just water weight, that it would go away, but now im bouncing between 142 and 144. I just moved and my wedding is in 11 days so ive been pretty stressed and not eating well. I got back on track today and im going to work really hard the next 11 days to lose those 4 pounds (which im sure will come off quickly once i focus) and then try and stay there until after my honeymoon. after that ill tackle the rest of these stubborn pounds.
After a couple months of thinking i could do without it im back to calorie counting. when i lost weight last summer i started out with calorie counting and then abandoned it halfway through because i had adopted the healthy eating and didnt need to watch calories anymore. Time to get back into that mentality, but BOY is the cake in the fridge calling my name. I hope you ladies are doing better than i am. Do you ladies all hit the gym in the summer? i like working out outside (running and stuff) but i live in Arizona and its HOT |

I'm trying out IF, anyone else trying it? I swim 3/4 times a week and I have just started doing yoga. I also try to count calories but I'm not convinced of the accuracy of it all. According to my calorie count today I ate 1055 but I think it's probably more like 1200/1300 |

Ooo! I've been looking for this thread :D I'm around 147 right now (course my weight fluctuates daily. It's between 146 and 150 depending on the day)... Just getting started... not having a good start considering I had my birthday yesterday which was a big ol' exercise in eating. And then we go and make me a birthday cake and hubby tells me "The whole thing is for you, I don't eat that flavor of cake."
You've GOT to be kidding me. I cannot say no to chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I ate one all by myself in a day and a half in college once :/ ~Katy |
I am ALMOST out. I was at 141 today, but not at my regular weigh in time this morning, only later in the day. So I don't make it count for real just yet, lol. I'm going on a trip this week - and it's gonna be only healthy foodchoices thankfully, and lots of time on my hands in beautiful France nature. So.. I hope when I get back I am out of the 140s :D - given that I started in my 150s about 5 weeks ago, that would just be the most awesomest thing ever :P

AAggghhh! I have only lost 4.6 lbs. in 10 weeks!
I keep looking on the bright side - when I have gained it's been less than one pound. It's been a fun summer with social events, tempting food, alcohol, and seeing old friends but now that those events are behind me I must get focused on getting into the 130s! I can't wait til my weigh in on Sunday! |
Welp just got over my TOM and finally was back down into the 140s last night. Yeebs. I was 149 last night :) when I woke up this evening I was 146... Probably low since I had juts got up, but still makes me kinda want to sleep 14 hours more often if I wake up 3 pounds lighter. LOL

I'm currently 147lbs or I was last time I was weighed ( I had to be weighed at the doctor when I got my implant removed) since March i've gained like 21lbs and I haven't been over 140lbs in years so I feel really gross at this weight.
I'm hoping to be back into the 130's by the 10th of September or sooner and I'm not weighing myself till the start of September so for all i know I could be less than 147lbs or more but I hope not since i've been really good with my diet/exercise these past few weeks. |

Had to buy new bras yesterday - oh, yeah - they were smaller size!!! If I stay here or below til next Sunday I'm moving on to the 130s thread! |

Well... yesterday the scale hit 144! It was around mid day so not just from being extra light in the morning :) Hovering around 146 still most of the time but 144 is the lowest I have seen in a while so, super happy it is slowing inching lower!

It looks like I am gonna be stuck here for a while - I can't seem to get the scale moving down for longer than 2 days and then it just goes right back up to 141/142 again.
It's annoying! I think I am enough in healthy weightrange that loosing is gonna be harder. But if 1400 calories is gonna be maintenance calories I am gonna go nuts too! lol. |
I'm 148.5:( I'm dying to be 139. I have set my goal to weigh 139 by October 31st. I'm a slow loser but I will be so happy when I see 39 again.

Hi everyone. I'm here at 3FC for a while now but I never really knew there was a thread dedicated to people who don't have a lot (more) to lose. So I was wondering if I can join in?
I'm stuck at this weight for a few weeks. I was really bad with my eating on vacation and now I can't exercise because of a foot injury but surprisingly I didn't really gain nothing. I hope to reach the 140 mark in a month. I don't know if it's possible because I can't really exercise that hard, but I'll try my best. Anyone doing IF? |

I'm haven't posted on this board but I'd like to jump in if that's OK. I've gained about 15 lbs over the last 2 years since I had a terrible knee injury and wasn't able to work out for ages. My body likes to sit around 150 but I'm very uncomfortable there. If I work out and eat well I know I can get back to 135. Because of my injury all I can do is bike and lift weights. I'm aiming for spinning 3x a week plus commuting on my bike. I had an eating disorder for 10 years when I was young so I stay away from dieting. Just trying to eat healthy. I mostly want to fit back into my size 6 clothes! Congrats on doing so well everyone! |

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be out of the 140's by Thanksgiving. I know that's roughly 8 weeks away, but i've only got 6lbs to lose by then (putting me at 139.8), but it's still going to be something I have to work at! Here's to hoping I can break out of the 140's again!!

Welcome! And thanks for the support! Cmwelp I think getting down to 139 by Thanksgiving is a great goal, I'd like to do it too! I like intuitive eating a lot! I've done it for 3 years, it doesn't help me lose weight thought..just maintain and not binge. I'm think I might try IF with an eating window of 12-8pm. I'm down to 146 now, really would love to see 144 by next week. Good luck everyone!! |
Welp a whole month later and I finally saw 144 again. I really need to get back on top of things, I got out of the habit of tracking my eating when I had a tooth pulled at the end of August and haven't been good about tracking since. You'd think having to give up soda and crunchy foods for weeks would have helped me lose a pound or two. But no. On the plus side I'm still 5 pounds down from my highest so onward! I need to start getting more active.

LisaTcan-the lowest i've been down too since being a pre-teen was 133. So 125 is like the ultimate ULTIMATE goal for me :-) I usually stick within the 138-135 range, but gained 12 pounds while abroad for a semester! So, now trying to get back to that range, plus some!
