That's so awesome! Good for you! :carrot: I personally count it the day I see. :D

sept15lija 03-14-2011 12:28 PM

Congrats Sarahlyn!!!

I've been bouncing around A LOT lately! Bigger bounces than usual, too. From 143 - 145. Last night I weighed in at 148 before bed (:o) so was very happy to see 143.8 this morning!! At church yesterday I had a few people pull me aside to tell me not to lose any more weight, and how good I looked. I appreciate the compliments, but why do you people tell you not to lose weight? They're so sincere about it too! Oh well! :)

Sarahlynn 03-15-2011 10:26 PM

I just wanted to wish everyone in here the best of luck and I hope to see you soon.

sept15lija: I had people say that to me to a couple years ago after losing the baby weight from baby number 2 and I say just ignore them, I mean unless you are underweight it is nobody's business how much you lose.

100percentME 03-17-2011 02:31 PM

arg. i was at 140.8 yesterday morning but after a full day of eating out (i wasn't spose to work at all yesterday but then got called in for two hours...which turned to four hours... which turned to a double shift, but i was given an hour and a half for lunch which was nice :) ) but this morning the scale was back up to 142.4
I can't really complain, its still the lower 140's but id really like to just hurry up and see a 130's number! Went on a two mile run this morning which was nice but now i need to try and keep my eating in check for the rest of the day. i think its back to the sabatoge thing. i saw a number close to the 130's and so instead of eating a salad for lunch yesterday i ate a sandwhich, frys and a shake. oh well, onto today :)

sept15lija 03-18-2011 09:38 AM

142.6 this am! Slowly but surely going down.

marywinchester 03-20-2011 04:56 AM

146.0 this morning.. Down one pound since last week.. Hope it will go faster this week.. Will count some calories, so hopefully I'll lose at least 2 this week.. Hope to be in 130's by the eastern-

WeightForMe 03-20-2011 10:36 AM

So im pretty sure im at a plateau and i just got here =( Lost 4lbs the first week of March folowing TOM when i usually drop a couple...and then basically nothing for weeks. Actually i did manage to gain a lb.. really!? Im at a loss i just dont get it. Not really sure if i should change something up / lower calories/ lower carbs / keep at the same and just push thru / curl in a ball and cry? lol

sept15lija 03-20-2011 12:17 PM

weightforme - If I were you I would try to up exercise a bit...and try to wait it out if you can. I try very hard not to lower calories until I absolutely have to (and so far I haven't had to).

Well I was at 139.6 this morning, but that's a three pound drop from yesterday's weigh in so I'm thinking it's a fluke...I had a beer last night so maybe just a bit dehydrated today. We'll see what the scale says tomorrow but I'm thinking I probably haven't really left the 140's yet!

marywinchester 03-24-2011 04:51 AM

Getting closer.. 143.2..

Niecy 03-24-2011 12:14 PM

139.6!!!!!!!!!!! I still have just under 2 lbs before I hit my real goal (at least for now, subject to change). I am going to give it 2 more weigh-ins before I say bye bye to the 140's for good, but WOW, these 14 lbs were extremely slow and hard to come off.

Niecy 03-26-2011 10:15 AM

And I'm outta here!! :carrot: 138.4 today!

sept15lija 03-26-2011 09:06 PM

woo hoo Niecy!!

I'm still here, I saw 139 a couple of times but back up to 141.4 the past couple of days.

marywinchester 03-27-2011 04:31 AM

Down to 143.0.. Lost 3 pounds the last week, so Hopefully I reach 139 in 2 weeks.. Just have to work hard and check my diet..

claire0412 03-27-2011 05:27 AM

Hi everyone!

I haven't been around here lately, because I gained so much weight in the last few weeks (6lbs apparently...) that I got pushed out of the 140s and back into the 150s. It wasn't actual weight, it couldn't have been as I am training for a 1/2 marathon and am running 4 x a week, burning at least 800 calories a time (normally over 1,000). I also cycle for at least 40mins a day (to and from work) and do Pilates at least 1 x a week. I kept my calories roughly at 1,400-1,600.

I was a bit baffled by the weight (water) gain but I came off the pill a month ago and I think my period is due, so that will explain it. Anyway, it is on its way back down and I've gone from 155 ---> 151 this week. Still haven't got my period though! I've thrown calorie counting out of the window (I can't be bothered to type it all in) and am just doing South Beach principles and eating when I'm hungry + a lot of exercise. I'm also weighing myself every morning for a few months and keeping an excel doc of it so I can learn to predict when the monthly bloat will arrive!

Hope to be able to join properly soon!

sept15lija 03-28-2011 01:54 PM

I'm still bouncing in and out of the 140's! 139 yesterday, 140.2 today. I don't count myself in the 130's properly until a weigh in, which is saturday. Hopefully this Saturday I can officially leave this thread! :)

melissakp313 03-29-2011 01:09 PM

I love this thread! I only have about 5-7 lbs left to lose, I am 140 right now and would love to be inbetween 130-135. One week Ill be 138, next 140, one week 136, next 141. My body reacts to sodium, and carbs like crazy. I swear, the day I weighed 136 that weekend I ate some cajun food with rice and the following weigh in I was 141! So I know I can get to it, but does that mean I can never have a bowl of rice? Frustrating!

Once I reach my goal and stay there for a month, I will be the happiest girl ever!

WeightForMe 03-31-2011 10:09 PM

Well ladies i broke thru my plateau FINALLY! SO happy! I really need to try to be here everyday to keep me accountable. Hope everyone is having a good week!

sept15lija 04-01-2011 01:20 PM

weightforme - Awesome job!

I think I'm officially in the 130's, I have been for a few days now...although 139.6 this morning so who knows! Tomorrow is my "official" weigh in, though...we'll see! :)

100percentME 04-01-2011 04:15 PM

im still chilling at about 142, super frustrating but im getting back into working out and eating right and, dare i say it, im cutting most of the caffeine out of my life.
hopefully ill see that 130's number soon. cant believe ive been in the 140's for so long!
i went to the gym for a little over and hour this morning and it felt great to work out again. now i have a busy day ahead of me, im tired, and the temptation for soda is overwhelming!

imperialistic 04-11-2011 12:59 AM

Finally hit 139 last week, now I'm down to 137. I feel like I annihilated that plateau :)

sophiew 04-11-2011 10:45 AM

I HATE the 140s! From January to the end of February I went from about 160 to 150. From the end of February until now I have been hovering around 148-150. Soon I will have spent 2 months in this 2-pound range. My plan was to be around 142 at the beginning of April. I am ready for my whoosh!

tater tash 04-13-2011 10:29 AM

141.6.. three weigh-ins in a row! So, bizarre that the 10th pound hasn't budge (up or down). I was at 138 a few weeks ago and a good few days of binging shot me back up to 145 and I'm working on getting that... again!

Put on my running shoes, 8th morning in a row!
Every step I make out there I know it's one step closer to my goal.

skinnyelle39 05-04-2011 01:46 PM

This thread is so quiet. Has everyone moved on to the 130's? lol

DEDIKAYTED 05-09-2011 01:20 PM

Nope! I think my body wants to reside here permanently! :(

...please say it ain't so!

Please push me into the 130's!

Huggenkiss27 05-10-2011 07:57 AM

I just joined and I'd sure like to be out of the 140s! I had been hanging out in the upper 130s but then a new town with lots of restaurants and a new boyfriend who likes to go out to eat and have drinks have bumped me back up into the 140s! I'm back to calorie counting and trying to get all the sugar and carb cravings under control.

Amberelise 05-10-2011 11:51 AM

Hi all. I officially hit the 140s today at 149. I suspect I'll be here until at least July, lol. Maybe forever. I don't think I've been in the 130s since high school. But, here's hoping!! :)

Congrats! Welcome! Stay a while but not forever, lol!:carrot:

Amberelise 05-11-2011 11:22 AM

Thank you! I had a cooking class last night and ate what I made. I am scared to death to check the scale in case I've left the 140s. I'll know for sure on Friday, my official weigh in day. I just need two really on track days!!! If Friday goes well I suspect I'll at least have earned my way here for a while.

skinnyelle39 05-11-2011 11:37 AM

141.9 this morning after 2 full days of IF. I hope I can say bye bye to this thread by Sunday. Wish me luck!

100percentME 05-11-2011 01:42 PM

im so stuck! i keep going between 139 and 141. its so frustrating. i know that ill get through it eventually, just like when i was stuck at 143, its just that im getting married in 2 months and its so frustrating to be eating healthy and exercising and still be stuck!

jacymacy 05-11-2011 04:53 PM

I want out of the 140's too! And I agree with the folks who say running makes you hungry. I've found the same thing. So it helps to be sure I have some protein after a run and try to eat foods high in fiber that are filling. But it's a constant struggle between the correct amount of exercise and calories. I've been trying to count calories, but I have days that just go OFF THE CHARTS. Like yesterday. So I'm up 2 pounds from my Tuesday weigh-in. =( But I am trying to get back on track today. I aim for 1300/day, but sometimes I can be below that and most of the time I'm above that. If I could just stay on track for an entire week or two, I would probably see some better results. But every week holds some sort of surprise or special event, like a pizza and Dairy Queen cake birthday party coming up this Saturday. I'm already trying to figure out a way to either limit myself or avoid the food completely. I have NO impulse control around pizza or ice cream. It's sad.

bella83 05-12-2011 10:56 AM

I want out!!!

I'm 143, 10 days ago I was the heaviest I've ever been in my life (148) and was/am utterly disgusted with myself.
I have never been one for exercise but tended over the past 5 years to waver between 128-138. I think a lot of it can be blamed on alcohol...one bottle of wine in one sitting a few times a week and and all the rubbishy eating choices I make after wine...and the hangover junk food. I am pretty sure that even if I didn't diet and just cut out alcohol I would kick 10lbs in a month.
So, I've cut out alcohol and am trying IF...so far it seems to be working. Want to be little again!!!!

kidjng 05-14-2011 01:23 PM

I'm so motivated to get out of the 140s now!

I tried on a pair of jeans this morning that I bought 10 years ago -- even though they fit, zipped and buttoned comfortably I can't wait til they are BAGGY!

nomorenachos 05-17-2011 04:17 PM

I'm so tired of the 140's! I can't seem to get below 143. At first I was thrilled to be in the 140's because I hadn't been below 150 for about 20 years! Now I'm tired of it. I went clothes shopping last weekend and I feel so much better health wise but I still have this big 'ole stomach that prevented me from buying anything cute. I bought a sundress that was a medium size (Yea - haven't seen medium anything for EVER) but my stomach is still sticking out. I realize I'm rambling and I don't think I've posted in this forum before so you all don't really know me, but I just needed to whine a bit.

skinnyelle39 05-18-2011 03:49 PM

139.1 or 138.7 ( the scales gave me different readings) this morning ladies! :carrot:
Hopefully by tomorrow or the end of the week I can officially move on! :)

jacymacy 05-18-2011 04:39 PM

Yay you, skinnyelle! Great job! I hope I can follow in your footsteps. I'm SOOOO close. 141 again today.

100percentME 05-23-2011 12:56 PM

^congrats skinnyelle :) thats super awesome!

for me it was 139.1 yesterday.
140.2 today.
Its so frustrating and yet at the same time im trying to stay positive because i remember when i was bouncing round 145, and then 143, and now im bouncing around the brink of leaving the 140's.
so close.

skinnyelle39 05-23-2011 02:42 PM

100percentme I totally feel your pain! But you are right at least the fluctuations have a downward trend. I was just writing about this in my blog. Here's to both of us being in the 130's thread by this time next week or sooner!

Thanks for the congrats ladies but looks as though Ill be here for a little while still. I was 140.5 this morning for reasons I'm still not sure of but I'm guessing it was too many late night carbs last night. Hopefully I can say goodbye officially this week. I'm going to make 140 my new red line weight. Hopefully Ill never see it or above it again.
