I was 149.6 this morning. Thursday is my official weigh in day- (even though i weigh pretty much every day). I was hoping to be 148- but under 150 is good. Hopefully by next week I will be 148. I am losing about 1.5 pounds/week right now, which is a good steady weight loss rate for me. |
I'm waiting for the water to go away so I can get on with this some more! I've been stuck around 147 all week. Still, 147 isn't such a bad place to be stuck. ;) I just wish I could be stuck UNDER 145, my "normal" marker.

Can I join? I have been between 142-144 for the last two weeks and am currently 143 although my official weigh in days are Mondays

Hi ladies. im still stuck in the 140's also, though i've been seeing more 144's and less 146's :D My weight loss has typically followed the trend that the top half of a weight range (169-165; 159-155; 149-145; 139-135; 129-125) were always the hardest part to get through, and then i get a little wooooosh down. Hopefully that stays true this time, cuz thats what happened the last time i lost this weight.
My boyfriend is now going into the military, so hes on board with my weight loss finally :) |

I am 141.8 this am finally broke the 142-144 dance I have done all week long! I had another good eating day and I am hoping to get my excercise in to see the 130's soon. :)

Ever look at the scale and totally not believe what it says?
i was 141.8 this morning. I'm pretty sure that its just one of those random lows in the journey, but im really excited cuz it means that instead of my weight bouncing around 147 and my low being 145, my weight is now bouncing around 143, with my low being 141. and that is deeeefinitly a sign that im actually losing weight :) I was hoping to hit 139 by the 11th, and that might not happen but at least ill be close, and ill be well on my way to hitting my next goal, which is 132 at the beginning of may. |
139.2 for a couple of mornings! Gonna give it a few days though, so I dont jinx it ;)

^congrats! Its always the best thing to see that number in the ten's place change.
The distance from 140 to 139 seems like such a chasm compared to the distance from 141 to 140 lol I'm going to try and buckle down for the rest of this week and hopefully hit my goal of 139 by friday, and then ill definitly be on track to hitting all my goals :) |

142 this morning. only a .2 pound gain technically so i guess i would say that im the same this morning yesterday. I was nervous this morning that yesterday's wake was just a fluke but i guess it was legit :)
now only 3 more pounds to get to my goal of 139 on friday. idk if it will happen, but you never know :) |

Just made it out of the 140s. V happy. Was there for several months. I switched to a low carb diet and eliminated additional sugar (my morning coffee experience suffers...) and no flour. I don't follow it religiously or stress about it too much. But for the most part I have been adhering and I think I can credit it with my current weight of 138. It's been a slow loss, but it sure beats that plateau effect!

Gah, I've been stuck in the upper 140s for a year now. It's sooooo ridiculously frustrating. A few years ago I lost 50 pounds and my goal was to 80. However, it just isn't working. I've been on hyperactive workout mode the past month b/c I've been trying to train for the Cleveland half marathon. But the pounds just don't want to leave my body. I'm about to just go on a crash diet to speed things up a little before summer starts.

I'm not exactly stuck, as my weight is moving steadily downwards, but I do want out of the 140's! :)

I am up 2lbs today to 142.6 but I am not letting it get me down because I had a bad day yesterday and I am sure that most of it is just bloat ect from bad eating.

vitamore - Sorry the pounds are being stubborn...sounds like you're probably building muscle though with all the working out? have you noticed your body changing? I'm jealous of you training for a 1/2 marathon, I'm trying to gear myself up to do C25K! sindaena - Welcome! I'm not stuck either, my weight is moving...it's just that it's been moving more slowly lately! haha weightfor me - Congrats!! Onwards and downwards, right?? :) sarahlynn - I'm sure you're right it's just water weight and will be gone soon! As for me, down a bit more...142.8 this morning. :) |

Still stuck here and I have no idea why. I fluctuate now between 141 and 142. I know I need to just keep counting those calories and exercise.. But sheesh! Give a girl a break. All this hard work! I want RESULTS!

Kinda disappoints me, but then i think back to a month or two ago when it was bouncing between 146 and 148, and even though its a small difference, its a difference in the right direction. Eventually i want to be frustrated by the scale bouncing between 126 and 128...eventually lol |
I am still 140.8 but I didn't work out yesterday because I spent my entire evening with a teething and miserable little toddler in my arms, I am so tired but I am determined that when he goes down for his nap I will workout to gain energy instead of sleeping or eating junk. I WILL be 139. something before this week is out!!

Sarahlynn - How old is your little guy? My DD is 13 months and is teething like crazy. Although last night she slept pretty well (with the help of advil!!).
Anyways back down to 142.6 this morning - I don't know what that 145 was about yesterday! |
Sooooo close and I can't wait to see 139!!! Last week was TOM from HE double hockey sticks but the scale has been slowly moving a few ounces each day. Usually during TOM, the first couple of days I just don't feel like eating but I made myself eat to stay on track with the calories. I notice if I DON'T eat, the scale is not friendly to me.
I did not exercise at all last week though, I was in pain and drained of energy. Hope to get in some starting this weekend and get back on track with that. |
Sept15lija -My youngest is 19 months, I also have a nearly 7 year old and a 5 year old. I gave him tylenol last night and though it brought the fever down it didnt last long enough between doses. I will be picking up advil for the next tooth because it is 8 hours instead of 4 and it usually lasts the full time so he doesnt have to suffer between doses.

Hi,this is my first post here. I am stuck also. I am determined see the scale drop soon! It seems like my 30's I stayed in the 130's, now my 40's here I am in the 140's. I would have to see that trend continue!

But I do feel a lot more muscle strength in my legs so that's probably the reason. Hi, I'm also new here. Been up and down between 146 - 160 the last years.. My goal now is to reach 130' ... This morning I was at 147.. Hoping to reach it soon =)

Hi! I am also new to featherweights! I've joined the out of the 140s thread, but I don't think I will ever be able to leave the 140s... The lowest I've been in my adult life was 145lbs, and I was in great shape then.
At the moment, I weigh 149.8lbs (weighed in after a hard run, does that count?!) and am trying to get as low in the 140s as I can go without starving myself! I am on South Beach phase 2 because low G.I. / low carb really controls my skin (acne flare-ups), mood and hormone problems. I am also training for a half marathon (on April 17th) and a 5k (22 May). I weigh in every 2 weeks but I'd love to post here as motivation. The featherweights forum seems great because I don't need to feel bad that I've got less to lose than everyone else! Claire |

I was 140.4 this am FINALLY!! I am so happy not to see 140.8 again I know it is a small victory but I was beginning to be discouraged. I only worked out 20 minutes too so hopefully with a good workout today I gain say goodbye to the 140's soon. |
139.6 YES!!!!! If you ladies don't mind I think I will stick around here and make sure I get three 30's weigh ins in a row before I move on.
