Today I walked to the post office and bank and then ... finally ... had a look at the DWTS dance DVDs I bought the other day. I can't keep up yet but I got a few of the steps and did move for a nice little while.
I had my usual shake this morning, should find something for lunch and I think I'll have a nap :) |
I have been at 143.8 for days now. The exact same weight down to the 10th! I am hoping a see a change soon. I have been working out quite a bit and really trying to get my diet in check. I have remained "junk food/sweet" free for the entire week (my weakness).

OK...hopefully this is my last post in this thread. I have been in the high 130's for a week now, so I'm going to say I'm there. I know there are a couple of folks just a pound or two away so I'll see you in the 130's thread! :carrot:

Congrats to everyone who is almost out. Me? It's terrible. I'm 148.5 - exactly the same as last week. It gets very discouraging!

I feel stuck in the 140s as well. it seems as soon as I get to 138 I binge and am up to 140-141. :( it always happens!

yay! so I weighed myself last week and had lost 5 pounds and 3". Started P90x last week. Then on Monday when I weighed myself, I gained back 4 pounds :(
I weigh myself in the morning after I go to the bathroom, so I know I'm 'empty'. Oh well, it's somewhat of a start! |
I'm Here !! In the 140's again :( I kicked them in the butt before, but now I'm back... I'm ready to say bye bye to them again :)

Finally dropped 1 pound. Geez I remember the days when I would easily drop 3 pounds in a week and now I've only dropped 3 pounds since Xmas! Hanging out at 147!

I'm struggling still in the 140s, it seems all my perfect planning and careful counting and excessive exercise can't seem to shake these last 15 pounds. I'm hoping to take up running again soon, and maybe that will help.

Hello, lovely 140s chicks! It is time for me to admit that I have bounced back up into the 140s club. I was a founding member of the previous 130s thread since at least November of 2010 and I got as low as 131 pounds last May. Then I started creeping upwards, bouncing in and out of the 140s. Now I am firmly entrenched, beginning January at 145.4 and ending it at 143.4.
I haven't seen the 130s since Halloween :sklol: at 139.8. I really have to figure out what I am doing wrong to gain back nearly 15 lbs that I worked so hard to lose. One problem is that I haven't been getting as much incidental exercise - mostly walking everywhere - as I was last year. I want to get on a regular weightlifting routine as well. I think my diet is back under control for now but I may consider dropping calories again. On On-Plan days, I average 1400 calories. I really don't want to go lower... I have already developed all kinds of odd binge-y issues now so it's hard for me to tell what is working, but I'm pretty sure 1400 calories of whole, low-ish carb food, is good for me IF I stick to it :D Basically I just need to suck it up and stop being such a whiny baby about what I eat. Right now my goal is to lose a mere 2 lbs per month and hopefully reach a happy weight by the END of this summer. Not very ambitious, but I want to focus on healthy diet choices, not having all-or-nothing mentality and becoming more physically fit even if I never lose another pound. So I should be hanging in the 140s at least another 2 months or so. :cheer: for us all reaching our goals, or at least moving toward them |
I weigh in today, and I could in a miracle go out of the 140s, but based on recent history, that could last for only this week. as I've been bouncing aroudn the same five lbs for what seems like ever.
How long do you have to be out of the 140s to go to the get me out of the 130s group? |

142.2 today, which means I surpassed my January goal of losing 2 lbs. It's great to set such small goals!! I am aiming to lose 2 lbs in February so we'll see if I can surpass that as well. I think January is the first month I wasn't gaining since the autumn :(
I also earned my 10 lb chickie back. :yay: Looks like several of you are close to moving on!! |
hi everyone! its weird to be even posting on the featherweights forum since i dont feel like a feather, haha. but yes, i'm joy and im trying to get out of the 140's.
its hard because a)this week is TOM, my most frustrating time of the month in terms of weight loss and b)i'm the smallest i've ever been so everyone is telling me how thin i look-- it's not much motivation to lose more weight. however, i'm keeping my eyes on the prize. this weight loss journey is for me and i have a goal in mind and am sticking to it... |
Made it to 145 today so I'm halfway through the 140's! One more pound until I hit 200 pounds down!

I am very mad at myself that I didn't appreciate being in the 130s more when I was there. I was comfortable maintaining @ 135 most of last year, but I have now managed to re-set my weight up to 143/144. Ugh. It took nearly a year to get "in the 130s" last time. So that's what I have to look forward to again. Nothing else to do but suck it up. Clearly what I have been doing (and not doing) is NOT working to get me to where I want to be. |

I don't know how many people are left on this thread but can I join? I've been in the 140s for the last several years. My goal is to be 130lbs but the 140s don't want to let me go. Question, what diets are you guys doing? Counting calories, weight watchers, south beach, fat smash, etc? I frequent the weight watchers board and have been officially and unofficially doing it since 2003. I just want this weight off!!! ARRR!! |

Hey, I hope I can join y'all. Trying to get out of the 140's has become such a challenge for me. It is starting to feel impossible. Yesterday I was happy to dip below at 139.8 but I think the way I ate today may have changed all that. Don't even want to get on the scale tomorrow.......I'm going to break this plateau this week by restricting calories and lowering carb grams.

Grrr.... I was 140.2 last week and this week 140.8. I did have a birthday in there (read: extra treats). I am so close I can feel it! I am excited!

That is my goal!!! I am 141 pounds, and my goal is to lose 13 pounds in 2 months. I don't feel right being 140 pounds.

I am finally in my 140's. It took me forever to get out of 150's. I had a busy weekend with my eating :lol: Last week I saw 146.5 but this morning I was 148.5. I will do a 24 fast today and hopefully I can be a bit lighter tomorrow. |

I am hovering around the mid-high 140s at the moment - another 10 pounds and I will be in the normal BMI range, which makes me super excited. I am hoping that by this time next month I will be in the 130s!!

I'm hovering at 141 for 5 days in a row now. I know movement will come, but it just sucks lol! I am gonna do 2hrs of exercise every day for the next 7 days just to see what happens. lol.
