Danni It's all about the trend so fingers crossed but at least you know it's going down! I eat about 6 times a day too, it stops me binging so I eat smaller bits throughout, I never get hungry anymore though which is shocking for me, I'm like a black hole when it comes to food! I'm so glad you feel so positive about it as a lifestyle rather than a diet, and it's paying off for you, you really are an inspiration.

I've decided to change my ultimate weight goal to 115 lbs. I realised when looking back at pictures than any less really wasn't flattering on me, I in no way have a small frame, it's more medium and I got told earlier my ribs were sticking out. I don't wanna be the tiny girl anymore, I want to be more healthy and sexy rather than a stick figure haha. x

X - I might have to change my final goal to 120. I am 2 inches taller than you. But the real truth is I don't have a special number for a goal. I am here to get healthy and strong and I will be interested to see where the number lands. I put down 125 because that is what is on my driver's licience.
But at 128 I still have these rolls around my middle I have a very small frame so my goal is to see those rolls disappear disappear.

I have never had a weigh problem until later in life and I'ave never had a eating disorder - so no problem with me going to low just to get ultra thin.

I just want to have quality time with the grandkids.
No rocking chair for this Grandma!

So I'm glad to hear that you are thinking healthy - listen to the girl inside and healthy is beautiful!

Danni I guess you can never really decide what you're ultimate goal is until you get there, you've got to see it to know what weight you're happy at . Everyone's built differently and the number on the scale isn't all that matters anymore, and you're very right healthy is beautiful! Just need to keep all this in perspective and remember its lifestyle vs. diet. I think it's good to still be able to enjoy the finer things in life and treat ourselves without feeling the need to go overboard. What's life if you can't have the things you enjoy every once in a while . Have a great day!

I felt the same way for a long time, I was just losing weight until my belly would disappear! I lost 80+ pounds waiting for this to happen and it still hasn't really... But a lot of other areas are starting to become very thin, certain bones are starting to protrude a lot, and I'm possibly going to have to purposefully gain back a few pounds (doctors orders). But I still have a bit of a roll problem around my stomach xD I'm thinking that as my body gets used to this new weight and has some time to adjust (skin in particular), it may improve, but I can no longer just keep losing weight until my problem areas go away.

I know we're in completely different situations, but I just want to speak from experience and warn you not to get too hung up on one body part that you're waiting on being acceptable to you. Like you said, just keep thinking healthy

I'm also having a problem losing inches where I don't want too and not where I do. I'm still thinking my goal of 133 is okay, but I'll see when I'll get there. I'll target the areas with strength training moves and see if it makes a difference. Right now I'm focusing on losing these last few pounds and gaining strength to do a pull up, not body sculpting.

teff - well gosh darn - I am hoping that those rolls would go away but if it doesn't happen I will still be healthy and happy .

I am just eating healthy everyday and waiting to see where this journey takes me. Somewhere in the 120's is where my weight has been for most of my life. So I am very curious about this process.

If I continue to eat great foods - watch my portions - do what cardio and weight training I can work into my life - I am looking forward to seeing where I am by Jan .2011. But I certainly intend to enjoy the journey.

When I go to the doctor in April - I want him to have a big smile on his face and tell my lab stats are great. I want my inside to match the healthy changes I'm seeing on the outside.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days. I did really well with my food intake over the weekend. We even went out to breakfast. I only eat half, and give my hash brown potates and other sausage patty to my husband. Luckily, he doesn't have a weight problem and burns it off.

It's funny, when I decided to lose weight, he joined me to support me. He stopped eating fried foods. I started counting calories like a mad person. He lost 10 lbs. in less than a month. And I'm still counting calories like a mad person. Of course, I lost quite a bit of weight since then, and don't have much more to go. Persistence and discipline is the key for me. And exercise. And water. The usual.

Danni, you had mentioned inches around your middle. Have you tried Pilates? That worked wonders for me. Of course, for me, it's my hips that take forever to lose inches. But each workout is helping me get to where I want to be.

Just wondering, do any of you watch TV while you eat? Or do you sit at the table?

Well, I have to get busy. Have a great week!

Tyla

tya- I bought the pilates video - but have not given it a try yet. I have heard all positive things about pilates - so it is on my list of things to try.
My son and his wife are sick so I have had the 11 month-old grandson since Sat. That is my exercise this week. He crawls - I follow and say no,no. then he laughs and crawls faster. He stops every now and then to make sure I am following - he really enjoys this game. The fact that I have been on my feet all day -exhausting. The fact that he just fell alseep in Grandma's arms - priceless!

Hi Everyone!

I just came back from a breakfast meeting this morning, and I'm developing pretty good habits...if I do say so myself. How is that, you ask? (LOL) Well, I'm kind of proud that when I ordered my breakfast this morning, I asked for a box. I decided I would put whatever I didn't need in the box for my hubby. (He loves surprises I bring him.)

At this meeting, you choose from 3 country breakfasts, and of course, they all include high calorie items. I ate most of my scrambled eggs, 1 sausage patty and a little bit of the banana muffin. So in the box, I put the rest of my eggs, the other sausage patty, potatoes and muffin. Now my hubby can have a breakfast he would like, and I feel great for what I did.

You should have seen the guy next to me. I think sparks were flying as he devoured his food. It was gone before I had a chance to look up. I guess I used to be like that. No wonder I was overweight! Now I can say, when I'm full I stop eating. For me, that's an accomplishment and a good habit.

My little chicken is marching on - little baby step after baby step.

New number today is 128. Now I have to work to keep it there so I can write it on the chart tomorrow and draw that line moving down. Isn't it funny how little things can mean so much.

My goal is to get to the gym today - it has been almost 2 weeks. I kept moving at home but have missed my regular program. But when you are on a lifeplan - you have to plan on life happening!!!
