Messycrayola, thank you for the information on the Stephen Pratt book. I was reading about the super foods on google, and that inspired me to go out and buy some of those. In fact, I had oatmeal for breakfast.
As for me, I've been working at eating right, exercising and drinking my water.
Hi, thank you! What day are you doing weigh ins? x
I weigh myself everyday, but I don't move my counter unless I've been at a new weight for 3 days in a week because I go up and down so much. My official weigh in for the end of the challenge will be Easter morning.

I don't go to a gym either. I do weights at home and use a Total Bodyworks 5000 (like a Total Gym) for my strength training. For my cardio, I ride a bike and make attempts at running.
Sounds good! My weight changes a lot too so I only record mine once a week, I have to weigh myself every day though just to keep things in check and to check the trend. Is Easter morning the 4th April? x

Weighing in everyday keeps me in check too. I try to keep it realistic. If it's low, I think of whether I drank enough (I'm bad at that), and if it's high, I think of what I ate that I shouldn't have (I'm bad at that too). Occasionally, I will have eaten clean and had a great workout and it doesn't budge or goes up! I'm working on not letting those days get to me.
Ah right just so I know how long I've got! haha. I know what you mean, it's hard though and really discouraging when you've worked really hard. Just some weeks depending on what time of the month it is for me are better for my weigh ins. The week after my TOTM I always weigh in my best x
I can't weigh myself everyday. It affects my mood! I know I've been really good the last 2 weeks, and I did get on the scale yesterday. And the idiot thing said I gained. I was pretty bummed all morning. My husband was so sweet to tell me he could tell I was losing weight. He sees me working at it. Just like I Am Worth It said, it probably was salt.
Sometimes I weigh on Fridays. If I decide to weigh, and I have a loss, you'll see a change in my ticker.
There's no pressure here. But Easter will be our official weigh in.
Water retention is a bummer! That sounds like a sensible plan, it's pointless upsetting yourself when you're doing so well Easter it is! Good luck to you as well!
I am a weigh everyday kind of girl. My weight doesn't go up and down alot as long as I'm working my plan. If I didn't weigh for a week I would let this guy: - tell me to go on and have a second helping.
Maybe some time in the future I will get to a place where I can maintain and not worry so much about the scale. I don't have a special number as a low that I am trying to reach. The scale is just a tool to make sure the fat is really leaving my body. When the mirror shows the love handles gone I will be in the street.
I do weigh every Friday and record that on a chart I keep on the icebox.
I love to see that line go down - so that is my official mark it on the chart day.
The days are clicking by. And it's a little over 5 1/2 weeks until Easter. It sounds like we're all motivated and doing great. It really helps that we're doing this all together. Keep up the great work, everyone.

Thanks - I am having a good day. Oatmeal, fruits, veggies and some chicken soup. It's good to know that it is all good for me - even better not to feel hungry. I will have a few almonds and dark choc. chips for my last treat tonight.
My exercise today is after my 10 month old granson.
Picking him up (22 lbs.) when he reaches the dog water dish.
Bring him back to the living room.
And then 10 seconds later - doing it all over again.
Who needs lunges and squats.
Congrats, Danni! Keep up the great work! Did you go anywhere special on your vacation? Vacations are tough to be on plan sometimes, but you are right, they are sorely needed.
