well, i'm on day 3 of the extreme fat smash diet and i'm about to go crazy!!!!! i am just soooo tired of struggling with my weight b/c i go up and down up and down. Well, I'm new to the site so i know i will find some support and offer support back.

welcome girl. curvydiva, i know what u mean.. is this ur first time doing EFS.. i was in my 4th day of this diet and i had to stop because i was getting headache. i am going to try it once again..

welcome back2me, its hard but we need to work on the eating. If you not going to follow it to the T just make sure u dont go over ur limit like that u could see result..i think that was my mistake i was doing good during the week but when the weekend came i think i just went crazy..

Ciao Curvy, the EFS is diffcult. I did lose 5 pounds the 1st week but I went back to calorie counting on day 10 because I was losing weight with that 2.5/3 pounds a weeks eating 1500 and EFS is so restrictive and limited foods. I did like doing the exercising and I've kept that part of the diet. This forum is VERY helpful and encouraging so hang in there...

Hey ladies! Hope everyone had a satisfying lunch. I bought a different flavor salad dressing and my salad for lunch today was pretty good. I need to try new recipes for the meals in the plan because I am tired of them.

Any ideas for the chickpeas?

I could barely fit into my clothes anymore. I finally decided to commit to a diet. While EFS is hard it does work:)

That's always a motivator when you see that your clothes are getting 2 small.. also it's a motivator to see when the clothes are getting too big

AHHHHHHGGGG! I am frustraited. I am exercising and not seeing any loss!! I weigh in tomorrow but feel deflated. I lost my drive and am not sure where I put it! Hopfully tomorrow will be better! I still have 3 weeks left until easter...so that is my new goal I will begin cycle 1 tomorrow and finish on the wed after Easter!.there I said it...Whewwww,only three more weeks to go. Just kidding...I know I will feel better. I have still been exercising, just eating too much of the good stuff. I will post tomorrow.

Hang in there lou it does get a bit frustrating... You know you could be gaining muscle so take that in to account and also if you retain water like I do my weight goes up and down from 2 to 3 pounds. One day I could be 2 or 3 pounds heavier and other days 2 or 3 pounds lighter. I've learned when it's better for me to weigh myself and I wear the same clothes and weigh in the same place..

We can do it.. I'm doing to get a mini goal for myself for easter 6 pounds which is 2 pounds a week..

Hey Lou! It sounds like you are working your pants off, it will pay off:) I think I am weighing myself too often, I got on the scale this morning....no change, I really need to wait till the end of the cycle. My weigh ins are on Mondays.

Thanks for the encouragement, I did better today. I walked this morning for a hour and this evening I ran for 20min. I did better eating so...so far so good!

I weigh in on Weds and I go to the gym to do it, so it is in the evening and I am fully clothed.


***I will also set a 6 pound weight loss by easter!! 2 lbs a week!

Way to go lou woohoo.. just keep on going, you will see the results :)

I'm going to start the EFS for the first phase (7 days) tomorrow - Thursday to give myself a little kick off and then I'm going to go back to my calorie counting... since I've done the EFS before and I'm use to the exercising and etc.. it shouldn't be as bad the 2nd time around and I know what to expect.. plus I'm in the habit of working out at least for 60 mins a day.. so I'll weigh in next wednesday..

Good Morning Girls!

I took the kids to the park yesterday to play some tennis but we never got a court open for us, they were so busy I guess because of spring break. Anyway just did some walking. I did a little wii fit this morning:) Yesterday I had ONE WHOLE CUP of black beans, wow it seemed like a lot of food at the time:)

Hey there marion hang in there.. I've decided to do the Cycle 1 again of the EFS starting 2mrrw but at least now I know what to expect...
It seems you and me both have arounfd 27 - 30 pounds to lose and we can do it. I think what I'm going to do is to do the cycle 1 of the diet once every 3 weeks because reading the book it says not to do the same cycle right after the other because you have to trick the body so I was thinking to do this 1 week then do 2 weeks of calorie counting and then go back to cycle 1 again. We'll see I'll have to play around with it to see what works for me :carrot:

Negrita, yes it looks like we have about the same amount to lose. I am not going to stop until I get this fat off:) I did weeks 1,2 and 3 and then started it back again at week 1. So after I have been on the diet 6 weeks I plan to decide if I am going to change it up with another diet called Body Defining. It is low calories also but the first 2 weeks are 1200...I am a little worried with starting this one because it is a couple hundred more calories than what I am used to on the efs. Sorta like why try to fix something that is not broken....but last week the food was driving me nuts, I was so sick of it...:)
How many calories do you aim for when you are counting?
