Back2Me hang in there. Commit to your goals and you can reach it. Vision yourself 10 pounds lighter and it will happen. We all ahve to be positive and it will happen. I'm loking at myself now 35 pounds lighter and know that I will get there

Back2me***be strong! I know it is hard not to eat before bed, that is why I gave it up for lent. It has been one week and it is easier than doing it for myself. God is a very powerful motivator! Plus if I give it up for 6 weeks (5 weeks left) than I know I can do it always. This is my biggest challenge in losing weight. Take some time and think of how you will feel to be at that weight by your B-day, and what a great gift to give yourself!!!:woo: You can do it...start by making a plan, make a menu for the next 9 days and get rid of the temptations that you can (just throw it away!!) When I just have to eat something on EFS I always reach for a pickle, they are free snacks. (I cannot even tell you how many pickles I have eaten lately!!) Plan exercise and maybe keep a journal! or better yet post daily so we can be accountable! I will help if you want...YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!
negrita75 Hey, kind of having a hard afternoon, but I feel better now that I have posted! This site works!!! I am going to chew another pc of gum! Yes I understand about TOM mine is due also...I weighed myself last night at the gym and was VERY disappointed! Hopefully next week will be better. I am not discouraged I just wanted to see a better number! :carrot:Keep up the work and we will get there! |
Lou if TOM is due that could affect your number. I know I gain water weight as much as 2 weeks before TOM. I started yesterday on EFS and my TOM started also so its a bit rough going as my first day of TOM is always hard but I did my required cardo for day 1 and following the plan exact.
You will see a number you like that is for sure, so keep up the good work and you can do it... |

Negrita u started the diet already.. me too i started on Tuesday.. and i am crying like a baby. because i work in a restaurant and have to cook for my family.. i am suffering..... i hope i could do this....

Lou, let me ask you a question regarding exercises.. i go to work very early in the morning. u think is ok that i do my two workout in one shot instead of one in the morning and one in the afternoon.... because i wake up at 4am and do my workout around 1:30 after work....

today was my second day.. and it was hard... Bkfst. blueberries/yogurt.. snack 2 egg boiled only the (white) Lunch.. 2 small slice of tilapia with veg. dinner.. 1 cup of b.rice with veg... and when making dinner for my family. i taste it the yellow rice just a little bit....but i hope i do better tomorrow |
hey 32 yes I'm on day 2 started on Wednesday and so far its okay. yesterday I did have a headache but today is better. I'm also on my cycle so it was a bit rough yesterday but 2day I'm much better. That's a good question about the cardio, 2day I did the 35 min of cardo in the am and 30 in the pm day 3 didn't say to split the cardio, but that is a good question.. I'm actually enjoying the cardio
Hang in there 32smasher I only can imagine cooking and being around food and you can't eat it. Just think about the results you will have. I'm imagining myself 35 pounds lighter and I know I'm going to get there I can do this. You will get there to hang in there :) |
IMO Life is life and as long as I am eating well and getting as much exercise as possible I am doing good. Try for 10 minutes here and there. Doing lunges, squats or jumping jacks during comericals will also help! To me this is a lifestyle change, so I have to incorporate life into it. I try to stay on plan but compaired to my last plan(which was no plan and a big butt) this is working much better...plus I feel great! It is also hard for me to feed the kids (DH is doing the plan with me) If I am tempted I pop in a pc of gum. Usually does the trick. I am glad we are all posting we need to keep it up!
Food for Thursday B 1cup life cereal with milk and 1/2 nectarine and of course Black tea (YUM!) s pear L tuna, peas (maybe a salad or something) s brown rice cake with PB D Chicken, rice and veggies (leftovers from last night) ***I am on day 2 of cycle 2--9 days in to EFS Goal for today***drink more water! check back later BYE |
Well said Lou, it is a lifestyle change and eventhough this is a jump start to losing weight I was calorie counting anyway and it is a lifestyle change. If not we are going to end right back where we started. I can personal say I did have bad eating habits but I've changed that. The EFD i can see why they call it that. I'm on Day 3 Phase I and the headache is back but for me with TOM it's making it worse because I want to just pig put on sweet things but I know that I shouldn't and I want.. also for me it will be a bit diffcult to see how much weight loss from phase I because I always gain water weight sometimes as much as 7 pounds and it takes at least 1 week for the water weight to go away. so I'll probably have to see my results going into Phase 3 and really get an accurate weight loss number..

Negrita, I am waiting until next wed. to weigh in. that will be the end of cycle 2, and 2 weeks into it. I am praying for a good number! I have to say I am no longer hungery or craving anything other than these Classon pickles i cant seem to get enough of! Today I ran 4 1/2 miles and I feel great! Its been a long time since I really ran.
My food B 1c. life cereal with milk and black tea S apple L sm salad and 1/2 c. creamy corn and roasted red pepper soup w/tofu...I did not finish either, I am not hungry. s yogurt and a pc of fruit D We are going to soup supper at church for lent! Have a great weekend! I am going to try to go out and do something fun for exercise! Lets report on our exercise progess as well...BYE |
this is my date 4th. i am feeling better i dont get that hungry like the first two days.. but one thint i am suffering with; the bread and danishes at my job.. this morning i had a tiny small wheat bagel.. and i cheated thats not good... but i been doing the menu very close to the way he ask. also, i been doing my 60 minutes workout.. that feels good... today i ran for 30minutes and came home and did 45minutes upperbody...
lets continue motivating one another we can do it.... |
Lou you are doing great!!! I'm going to weight in next wed myself but I know with my TOM just leaving I maybe still have water retention as usual, I retain water like crazy that's why I don't use salt at all..I'm also observing lent.
32smash hang in there tempation is all around us and working around food can't be easy. at least you didnt eat the hold thing and keep on thinking positive. I'm on day 4 now today and so far so good. day 1 and day 3 I had headaches but I think it is also related to TOM. It's morning here now and so far no headache and eventhough today is a rest day I'm going to do some squats and stomach crunches.. We can do it!!! |
Hello ladies...well sat. is here we will see how the weekend plays out! My 5 year old has a t-ball game at 11 and my 8 year old has a basketball game at 1130, and after that we are going for pizza. I plan on eating salad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just did 20 min of yoga and am pretty sure I am becoming addicted. which is a good thing. I plan on doing more later or maybe running. OK heres the food plan for today B 1c oatmeal with fruit and black tea S Apple L Salad and no pizza!! S rice cake with PB D Grilled Chicken with asparagus We are all doing good!
