hey there marion, it definitely takes will power to watch others eat tacos and you only eat brown rice and chickpeas..
I lost 4 pounds woohoo.... so I'm very happy.. but next week I'm going back to calorie counting so I can have more choice. but I still do the exercise schedule for EFS that really helps and I'm enjoying the working out.. |

Hey marion yes the hard work is paying off. I just finished doing my 2 aerobic for today 1 time in the am and again the the afternoon.
I feel like you do I have to do what works for me and doing week 1 of efs and calorie counting works for me. our bodies are different so what works for me may not for others.. when I saw the scale down 4 more pounds it's like being in a marathon and seeing the finish line approaching :) |

Negrita, you motivated me to exercise twice today. I did wii fit this morning and walked on treadmill tonight:)

good job Marion...It will be well worth it!! I have to say the key to my recent sucess is not eating after 8. I am trying not to eat after diner. I seem to be less hungery!! YEAH!
I am so glad that tomorrow is friday!!! Does anyone have any big exercise plans for the weekend??? I am going to run to my sons T-ball game, which is about 4 miles. And I am not sure about Sunday, maybe after church. Have a great Weekend!!!!!!! |

Hey lou yes I don't eat after 8 pm. and it does help. 13 pounds is awesome lou keep up the work. I have a friend over from london so we are going to do some sight-seeing which involves a lot of walking and sunday I'm going hiking in the mountains which we usually stay for at least 5/6 hours.. |
Today, I am helping clean and paint at one of the members (an elderly widow)at our church. I will need to plan my meals ahead and bring them. For this weekend, I don't have any exercise planned, I just need to make sure I do something:)

Hey marion that's a nice thng to do. you should give yourself 1 day of rest. 2mrrw I'm resting since sunday I'm going hiking in the mountains and will burn a lot of calories just by doing that not including the other daily calories you burn..

Hey ladies have a great weekend. I'm going to rest and I'm not going hikinh. I've sprained a muscle or something around my hip area and it gets stiff and hurts when I'm not moving and walking is a bit tricky so I'm going to wrap it up with some ben-gay..

Hey Ladies! Negrita, so sorry about your muscle sprain, it sounds painful. Were you exercising when you sprained it? Try and keep up with your fluids.
Yesterday, I was gone most of the day and sorta crashed when I got home last night. I am going to exercise today:) go grocery shopping and cook for tomorrow. I usually make a few cups of brown rice, that I keep in the fridge and just warm up when the menu calls for it. |
Hey Marion it's more of a pulled muscle and I have no idea when I pulled it because it didnt start to hurt until friday mid-morning. I'm just rubbing it with anti-flam. and massaging it, it does hurt.
It's okay to crash sometimes our bodies need it you know and maybe may body was asking for a break or trying to catch up with all the exercising that I was doing. Hopefully by tuesday it'll be better so I cna go back swimming on friday.. |
negrita hope u feel better for you could go back to ur exercises... Marion and Lou u guys are doing great...i have lost 4pounds i feel great.. i been exercising for an hour alternating weights and cardio.. and looking at what i eat..
but today my hubby wanted me to have breakfast with him so i cheated a little bit but i will have a lite lunch and i nice healthy dinner. |
Hey 32smasher way to go.. see you are doing it and even if it isn't the efs you will get there.. it's ok to reward yourself sometimes, when we restrict too much that is what causes us to binge well at least me, that's why I choose to efs for only 1 week then go back to calorie counting..
I'm much better today, but still a bit sore and this weekend I haven't really been eating on my calorie level I"ve been way over and with my cycle( which means I'm 5 pounds heavier for sure if not more) starting today, the craving has been crazy.. oh well I'm going to start back on monday with my calorie count and I'm going to ONLY walk monday nothing more. actually walking as help the stiffness.. hang in there ladies we can do it. I'm not weighing in this week since my cycle is here I usally weigh in the week after because I retain so much water.. how are you guys doing lou and marion? |
