It's a dreary Sunday morning and I'm skipping church. I have a bad head cold and am coughing a lot so I thought it better to stay home. I think this is from stress and lack of sleep from the week before. I am on the mend so hopefully will be feeling better soon.
I maintained my weight this week. I'm pleased about that because while I was spending much time in the hospital I didn't eat properly. I am now back on track and hope to show a loss next week.
Rachel: It's great to see you back from China and that you had a wonderful time. I'm sorry, though, to hear about your scholarship. I'm praying that the Lord will supply what you need.
Gary: Nice to see you're keeping busy and out of trouble. You also have evey right to be proud of your kids. They seem to be great people and will contribute greatly to society. Mine are both working and hopefully will have their futures lined up for them soon too. Wedding plans are coming along. with everyone in my family coming out for my dad's funeral we don't know how many will be able to make the distance again for the wedding. I do understand if they can't come. We'll see.
Lori: A big welcome to you. You will find support here. I weighed what you do now 5 years ago and have been losing it slowly but surely. I also can relate to losing parents early. I lost my mom (42 yrs old) when I was 14 and my dad last week. I do have a great stepmom who is like a mom to me so I feel very fortunate to have her.
We're here for you!
Teel: Love your sig! It's also great to hear from you again. Post when you can find your computer.

I know what it's like to have a mess for renovations. Just look to the final result. I love my kitchen!!
Sunny: So glad you're feeling better now. We miss you when you're not here. The weather has been really wet and cool here too and I don't have my bedding plants either. We did a bit of pruning and deciding what to plant where yesterday. We would like to have the yard looking nice for the wedding but with the constant rain it's hard to get out there. I plan to spend even an hour in my yard each evening and hopefull we'll have it looking good in no time.
mkay: Nice pics! You have a beautiful family. No, it's not your breath. It's mine!!
mnewton: I agree with you about teens. I worked in the school system for 10 years and there are so many troubled kids out there. A teacher has so much responsiblity and opportunity to make a difference. I really admire teachers and think they deserve much more than they recieve in return for what they do.
Well, i better get going. I feel a nap coming on. I'm still feeling weak and hope to get caught up on rest today.
have a wonderful Lord's day!
