A ton to do around here before the graduation party on Sunday...should be around 75 people or so before it's over...thank-goodness a lot of the kids are at their "homes"...out of state...for the week-end.
Hey, y'all! I hope everyone is doing well. I've been busy (of course!) the past couple days, cleaning the house yesterday and took the kids to the beach today . We are all exhausted Thanks again for all of the prayers and well wishes. It really means a lot. I'll let you know the results of the scan when I find out. I've just been trying to keep my mind off of it by staying busy and praying a lot. I know the Lord will provide no matter what the results are. Sunny, I'd love to see the siggy! Thanks!!!! Well, I've got to go get rid of all this sand!!!

Hello Karla... good to see you drop by again Sounds like you have been one very busy gal! We cannot wait for you to have your own computer up and running again so you can come more often, but we are glad to see you pop in when you can
Joe & I were hoping to get in some gardening this weekend too, but it is still raining like the dickens out there We won't be able to do it tomorrow either because we have church and then two parties to attend... so we are hoping for Monday all to ourselves with some good weather
Whew *Body for Life* that's a tough workout Good for you!! Let us know how you are progressing
Okay Gary... EZZZZZZZZZZZ You know how quiet it gets around here during the holidays I thought you were busy!?? Don't you have a HUGE party tomorrow you are suppose to be getting ready for?

I miss not coming on in the evenings... but I think I will survive I broke the bargain with Joe on my first night! I totally lost track of the time and was on till 8:45
I am glad I didn't say too much about *CSI* too! I would have been bummed if I spoiled the show for anyone Joe still hasn't seen it so we'll watch it together maybe this evening (I'll see it again w/ him).

Been busy all day working on things for the party...I'm in charge of the beer! I had to sample some to make sure it was good. The ex came over and her, my neice, and Angie whipped up 120 cheese enchiladas for tomorrow, tacos will be made tomorrow. Lara, Amanda, Ron and I did outside stuff, yard work, chair cleaning. Ryan was at the CIF track finals...several of his girls qualified for the state meet in the jumps! that is 2 years in a row with different schools some of "his" kids have gone to state...in California that is quite a honor for the amount of athletes.
Pictures of pre-set up....Ron's planter box of veggies....the new awning...the new garage doors.
Have a safe and wonderful holiday. Prayers for our military!!
Hi all,
Sunday a.m. and i have so much to do today around the house, then have to take Simba by 4 pm to be boarded (pray for me cuz i already dread the thought of her not being here tonight), then i leave for the airport around 5:30-6:00 tomorrow, i have to go drop my car off, get a shuttle to the airport and i get into la around 11, get my rental car and then to my folks house. We're having a BBQ/Birthday party for my family friend Sandy, should be nice to relax with the family. I'm so excited about leaving but anxious too. I shouldn't be on here, but wanted to say Happy Holiday! Remember our wonderful military men and women, all those we've lost and those that are serving today. I'll try to check in and post pics whenever able. PRayers to all ofyou!
Hi everyone! I just wanted to thank you all so much for your prayers. I have really felt them. My dad had a very severe stroke and was paralyzed completely down his left side. He passed away early Thursday morning. He was lucid for the first 4 days and I wouldn't trade them for a minute. We were able to communicate with him and basically say our good byes to him. The last 2 days he could communicate with a wink and hand squeeze. I feel blessed to be with him the last week of his life. It was also a real blessing to be with my whole family for the time also. It was a real time of bonding. I did a lot of mourning in the hospital. The hardest part right now is watching my mother. She misses him so much and is having a hard time. She is a strong person and I know she'll be all right but that doesn't make her hurt any less. If I could ask for more prayers it would be for her. She is going to have to go through her years of firsts without dad.
We're not doing much today, my husband has to work today. and we all went to a birthday party yesterday and I did laundry. We might go to the mall or somewhere later just to have something to do. I like lazy days!
Wilma - Such sad news. I will be praying for you and your family.
Mitchy - Have a fun and safe trip!
Gary - Beautiful home! Have fun!
Sunny - Thank you so very, very much! I love the new siggy!!! It's so cute.
Taking just a few minutes to check in. The graduation party went well, had plenty of food, drink, and fun. Over 60 friends and family came and I think everyone left in a good mood. Spent most of the day cleaning up and resting.
WILMA Again..my prayers.
MICHELE You came in to great weather today didn't you Have a great little vacation.
Jen Lazy days are cool!
SUNNY I see you are keeping your "promise" with Joe. Hope you both had a great week-end. Angie and I finally saw the CSI finale...great show, intense.
SAMI Great INDY 500! I am sure Danica has been the talk of your town. I watched the entire race this year, usually I miss part of it because of church. My grandpa always went to the time trials..wonder what he is thinking in heaven about it. Hope all is well with grandbaby and the kids.

Hello my Friends,
Wilma, I am so very sorry to hear of your Dear Father's passing... be comforted in knowing that he is now is the Presence of our Lord and no longer in pain or discomfort. I will hold your Sweet Mother in my prayers for I just cannot imagine what pain she is suffering w/o her husband to share life with. My heart goes out to your Dear Mother, to You & your family and all those touched by your Dear Father's life. (((Warm Hugs))) for you!
Gary, Your pictures are great, as usual... You have such a beautiful home! I can see Angie's gorgeous roses all in bloom in the pic of your new garage doors - which look great, by-the-way. And looks at your veggies!! Make me ill why don'tcha !! I cannot believe how big yours are already and ours are still in pots waiting to be planted... uggg!
I am so glad to hear that your party went off so well... like I doubted it for a minute I bet you are so glad to have your home it all back to normal and all cleaned up again... and look at all the NEW things you got in the process The parties are always fun, but the day after is collapse-time and catch-up with yourself time Hope you and Angie have caught-up
Yes... all the finale shows were INTENSE this year! Do you watch *NCIS*??? I was STUNNED!!!!! And my jaw is still hanging! That is such a great show with all the characters - I will miss Kate - in the show! If you have never seen *NCIS* you have been missing a great show! The banter that goes on between all the character is fantastic!! That's why missing any one of them (the characters) is a real bummer! I am hoping that when they come back for the new season... that someone was DREAMING and it didn't really happen! And if you have never seen the show... you are now very confused
Well Michele, I see that you have left for CA... "watch out CA...!!!" I hope you are having a great time!!!
Jenni, We had a quiet day yesterday too and loved it! Joe & I played a Scrabble game after breakfast on or porch (I WON! - it was close though! Scores were: 284-Joe and 306-me ) and then went out into the gardens to weed at around 1pm after it cleared and we knew it was done raining. We didn't get in our potting or the veggie garden, just not enough time in a day. BUT we are going to have some nice sunny weather for the next few days, so we'll get it done soon. If we don't we'll not have any harvest !! We had grilled chicken (marinated in Zesty Italian Dressing) and corn on the cob, served with a freshly tossed salad for dinner It was 8pm by the time we ate, so no dessert. It was a lovely, lovely day! Did you go to the Mall??
Your New sig looks adorable on you I am so glad you like it and had no problems posting it... enjoy!!!
Margie, How was your holiday weekend? I bet you are up there in miles now!! Not me... I am only at 31.25 Miles so far and only have today left. I hope to get in at least 40 next month - it was just a crazy month for us in May! We had the best time at the Birthday and Communion parties we went to on Sunday. My niece has a brand new Country French style home (valued at aprox $650,000.00) to host her party at - it wasn't even finished... Beautiful home!!! And here I sit in my humble home (of aprox $60,000.00 - ) But we had a wonderful visit with everyone and we loved our time home together yesterday! It was so nice... even the phone was quiet! We watched 2 movies: *The Aviator* and *National Treasure* both great movies! We watched *National Treasure* 2ce and I am not a Nick Cage fan, but it was a great movie! Much like the *Raiders of the Lost Arc* films.
Teel, I have a siggy for you sweetie!! I HOPE you will like it! I will post it today in a PM... look for it, okay
*~*~*
I do hope that all you other CER's that are MIA are doing well and

Sunny- Thanks! I keep the troops and the president in prayer, cool graphics princess. I agree with CSI- I thought for sure they were going to kill him off with the ants and everything, he is a cutie I am glad he'll be there this fall!I watch ncis - can't believe she'll be gone, I agree it is a great show, and they play each other so well maybe someone was dreaming. Then on csi-miami- it looks like calli is leaving! Wow! $650,000- can't imagine!
Karla- wow 240 acres, you will be a working girl, Prayers it all comes together.
Jen- lazy days are fun, especially when you can hang out at the beach, still not warm enough here, but e.z., and sunny giving it their best shot so soon will be toasty.

Hi Sue,
Did you have a good weekend too? Go camping (silly ? I know...) We have some awesome weather here too!! Sunny most of the day yesterday and looks like great weather through the week
*NCIS* is a great show, isn't it! I KNOW that Gary would love it too - especially because of his sense of humor - he would enjoy the banter that goes on between the 6 of them (6... right?)... I really do hope that Kate's death was a dream
I am so glad you like all my graphics ... it IS fun to be able to express myself through them
Wilma~I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you and your family are in prayer...
Trying to catch up but it'll take me awhile. Yes i made it to not so sunny CA! It was nice but overcast yesterday, but there's a nice breeze. Got in with a little trouble renting the car....long story....got my mom a dozen roses for her trouble and cuz she deserves them, then we had our family friends over for a bbq, including grilled vegetables (yum), we had a great time.
Today i am doing laundry, made my dad some breakfast (he likes my egg breakfast sandwich), having some coffee and maybe going to lunch with my friend and doing some shopping and i may go get a pedicure.
