Toonses- I know what you mean about shuffling. I swear sometimes I feel like I' barely moving.
Scarlett- I can't wait for the candy to go away, unfortunately it will probably be replaced by turkey and pumpkin pie. But at least I'll get a couple weeks reprieve.
Aka- I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling the chest/core burn. I was actually starting to get a little worried. The last few runs I've actually felt my core heat up.

Meeel- I have to say you make Australia sound like a forbidding place to run. I'm slightly afraid for you. Congrats on the way you handed the hecklers. Were they like 14? Because if they were older (and eating McFatties while heckling a runner) that's just sad. Karma baby, karma.
I finished W7D2 today and actually made the 2.2 miles in 25 minutes. My first mile was 9:49.
I think I'm suffering from a mental block though. When I start my run I keep thinking I need to moderate my pace or I'll run out of gas before the second mile. But when I try to moderate my pace I'm just as tired by the second mile as I am when I run normally. I think I need to get over the idea that I won't finish, for whatever reason, and just go after it. The mental whibbling about the difficulty has gotten less throughout the program and I do enjoy the runs so hopefully I'll break through my Can't thoughts.
Besides, I've run 2 miles straight twice!
