I am going to start the program tomorrow....I have never been a runner and really hope to make it through the first week. My daughter wants to run in a race this fall and I would love to actually do it with her not beg her to walk with me like last year.

Hey guys, I haven't been doing this this past week. It's been way too warm out. I finally found a solution to my problem. Next Monday, I'm starting the training again but I'll be doing it in the mornings instead of the evenings. That way, it'll still be cool out. I also want to do it Monday Wednesday and Friday (if not Friday, Saturday). I'd like to get into that routine. I really love the feeling of jogging so I think this is something I should stick to.

Completed W4D3 today. I've been doing the program slowly but I am determined to finish it. I hope to start week 5 next week.
For all the new people, I know you'll do great and don't give up.

It's so great to hear about everyone's goals and progresss You all inspire me SO much!

I am staying on track, ran W5D2 yesterday... Running for 8 minutes at a time was rough for me, but I did it!!! Leaving on vacation tomorrow morning for a week but bringing my running stuff and planning to get my runs in!

It's a family reunion so I think I will welcome the break/chance to blow off some steam by myself a few times during the week.

How important are days off? I want to accelerate weight loss and have a desire to run everyday. Will I impede my loss if I do this?
