Philana, I skipped those 2 last days too! I was just too excited to move on to the bigger intervals!

Did W5D1 yesterday and I found it pretty easy. The last 5min run was at 8.4kph, but I did it! That 20min run on D3 is looming over me, though... and I'm so nervous argh. Saying that, D2 is looming over me too!

I am getting nervous, I am going through my weeks a bit slower than I should - I only have 6 more weeks before the 5k run that I WANT to do, and I am just at week4d2. Am I gonna make it if I run consistently every other day from here on?

hi everyone! im on week 4d2 tomorrow. im running it at 5 mph (treadmill) how fast are you all running? i find it impossible to go to week 5 and run 8 minutes straight when im dying after 5 min. maybe i should do a lazy jog? just wondering, are you improving your speed or just your endurance at first?

Not sure if this is c25k anymore I'm switching to distance rather than minutes now. And doing w6d1 using distance is harder than i expected. Oh well I'll just have to improve myself then >"<
Here's what I did today:

run 1.6km
walk 400m
run 400m
walk 400m
run 400m
total: 3.2km in 20 minutes. Not so bad I guess. Just need to improve the running time longer than now Tomorrow gonna run the 2nd lap 800m :P Step by step

Hey Hey! So I did my first 25 min run last Wed. I ran a mile Friday, but havent ran since then. Lets just say today (w7d1) was difficult. My breathing was fine, but my calves were so tight and felt like a million pounds. I stopped and walked half way through my 25 min.... Maybe I need to stretch better?

Hello All .... I did W2D2 today ... I have to say I am struggling to get thru! I am doing it but Man oh man .... I am walking the first 5 warm up minutes at 3.5 then the run portion at 5.5 followed by walking at 4.0 and running at 5.5 thru the intervals. I want so badly to be able to call myself a runner so I will not give up!
Do you all do the 3 days a week or are you doing every other day! I am on a Friday, Sunday, Tuesday schedule with weight training on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday with Thursday being my rest day. I find the run day after my leg weights day REALLY tough but I need to get upper and lower body into the non run days ...
Any suggestions ???? I am open to any and all help!
Thanks ~T~

Just did w5d1 - it went well. But I can't imagine going to 8 minutes the next run, and a full 20 the one after that. Nutters really!

aggie: I only pay attention to the time, really.. I couldn't care less about speed (nor distance!) at this point I'd be happy to run my next 8min run. Once I've finished the program I'll allow myself to note down the distance I've gone and see if I can speed it up. LOL.

Did W2D1 yesterday, I think a lot of it is a mental challenge. Because I thought week 1 was super hard, wasn't confident that I could do week 2.

hi guys! Thinking its my first time posting in this thread but as you can see from my siggy I have been doing c25k for a bit... I did w5d3 today with no issue and actually ran a bit more than 20 minutes... My question for you all past this point is do you think I need to do week 6 since I didn't have any issue? i feel like I could have done 25 minutes without problems...

also, I find what helps me the most is to drink at least 20 oz of water before I run(i run about 20 min after i wake up in the mornings). I concentrate on my breathing as well... 3 paces in two out. If I feel tired I do a body check-paying attention to are my knees hurting? ankles? cardio?etc... usually i just need to concentrate on my breathing!
