SABRINA...lol...one of my goldens just puts her head down and goes-goes-goes....the other one stops and sniffs a lot if we allow it. As they get older,7 now, they are more in-tune with what the other wants to do but boy oh boy was it a challenge when they were younger. Great job on taking a little extra on for your neighbor!

TIDIPRINCESS...I haven't heard the final outcome on the wedding weather...my step-d comes back tonight. Yep, she is well aware of NY weather after living there 4 years and visiting often...here in southern California coast it is "generally" pleasant at all times compared to many other places in our world.

Speaking of weather, gonna be warm here today, in the high 70's...very nice for summer!

Got 3 miles in, as usual, this morning with those dogs and my lovely wife...

311/1000 MILES

Enjoy your day ladies!

Just got back from our 3 miles, 7:30 and it is already 70 here and you can feel it's gonna be warm again today.

TIDIPRINCESS...My wife picked my step-d up late last night at the airport, when I asked my wife on the walk how the wedding in Buffalo went she laughed! She told me the wedding this past week-end was on Long Island...I shook my head and said "oh, all she talked about was the one going to happen in Buffalo"...wife said she thought that was the one she was going to also....that one is in October.

Have a great day ladies!

Took the dogs for a walk again last night. Another 3.5 miles. The first time, they were on a joint leash... this time we had them on separate leashes. They still seemed to be obsessed with keeping up with each other, so there were still moments of jogging along to keep them together. Gonna be closer to 100 degrees today so I don't know if I'll end up walking again... might have to take a break and do some swimming instead. The rest of the week looks to be in the upper 80's, though, so that'll be nice.

Glad the dog walk got a bit easier SABRINA I hope it cools down for you and you can get some swimming and walks in.

Cloudy and overcast here this morning...almost..ALMOST...thought about a sweatshirt...lol....cool 65 right now. Great for that 3 mile walk with the girls...actually the wife and I came home with soaked tennies from all the dew in the grass we walked through.

forgot to add yesterdays miles with my post, so....

Nice weather today.. almost cool with the breeze. Took the neighbor's dogs for another walk. I think she's enjoying the fact that we're doing the exercise so she doesn't have to.

Had to hold it to 2 miles this morning as my one pups hip was an issue...poor baby....a nice cool morning for the walk.

Angie and I will be walking this week-end in a Relay For Life Cancer Walk. We will go for a while to kick it off starting with a lap with my sister, a breast cancer survivor, then, as last year, we will walk a 2 hour shift between 2 and 4am Sunday morning, right after my sister does her midnight to 2am shift. Way cool!

319/1000 MILES

Have a great week-end!

Took the dogs out for a short 2 miles today, still hip issues for the one. Shortly we will head off to the 24 Hour Relay For Cancer walk and do a few laps with my cancer surviving sister...then back tomorrow morning at 2am for our 2 hour scheduled walk.

Be good

Slowed down a little on walks with my dogs. Seems it isn't a hip problem but a torn ligament in my one pups knee.....ouch to her and to me too! $2,800 surgery next week and in a couple of months she will be good to go.

So for now the vet has us down to a mile or so each day and pain meds.

Well surgery was done last week on my golden. She is doing well but won't be able to do any substantial walks for 60-90 more days.....bummer!

We do have to get the other one out and Angie and I are doing that as we can with keeping an eye on the hurt one and with company here.

I won't be here much but I hope all of you are keeping up your walks and any exercise that you can.

be good....

EZ, you pop up everywhere. I'll do this too. I get mileage by cleaning, walking around, shopping and running on my rebounder. Today, I did 9.63 miles. my pedometer has been kicking since I hit a weight loss stall and I have actually been watching it since the 25th, so that is what I will log.

so 39.58/1000

Jendiet: I used to have a pedometer, but it wasn't a good accurate one. I should invest in a better one. You're right though, get that mileage in cleaning, shopping, whatever!! (I think I'll make that my reward to myself when I get to 150! )

Today I walked about 2 miles and biked 6.5miles. So 8.5 in!! YAY!!

146.4/700

TDI, wow. that is awesome. Yeah, I have a sportsline heart rate monitor watch and OMG, I love this thing.

Well, I only got in 6.88 miles, and none of it was formal exercise.

46.46/1000
