So I took a couple days off.. a lot going on lately.. but this cooler weather isn't going to last much longer, so I took advantage of it and followed the trail down by the river last night for my walk.. was a really nice change and the river keeps the temperature down.

I have been slacking on miles this week because of the heat. I have decided to stay in the house until next week for exercise. I've just been doing some circuit training exercises instead.

Well, I didn't get but 2 miles walking out of town this week. I did walk for dinner once but the rest of the time we ate before we came back to the comapny apt. and ordered in once.

I may be off next week so I should get some each day. Keep going ladies and welcome celrae!

Sorry i've been AWOL in the miles area this week LOL. I've been exercising like crazy, but either haven't had the chance or didn't want to fight the rain to go cycling. I don't mind the rain, but it's the mugginess that comes with it this time of year.
Keep up the great work! I'm resting my legs for a few days from harder workouts, so no major miles before next month I'll check in more often though!

No problem TIDIPRINCESS....glad you are keeping up your exercise! My step-d is actually going to Buffalo this morning for a wedding. She is in Long Island visiting her boyfriend. She "cried" to me last night about the weather there...lol...she went to college there so is full aware of it.

Speaking of weather...I HAD SOME! this morning. I took the girls out by myself since Angie was teaching a 7:00 yoga class. We got our 3 miles in but also rained on pretty good. It is in the high 60's so it wasn't too bad....refreshing really.

Hot weather last week - almost forgot, though, that I took a walk in the afternoon on Friday...

Today's supposed to only get up to 85 degrees. I'm hoping that's true so I can get more walking in. I feel like I need to get back into this and the Summer has really slowed me down. I'm going to at least push to start taking the short walk at work every day... I figure a few laps around my building, even when it's hot, will be doable and will plug in some much needed miles. I have some catching up to do.

So the neighbor was out of town today and I decided to do her a favor and take her dogs out with me when I walked tonight. I certainly didn't go as fast as they wanted to go.. but they pulled me along at a quick enough pace that they had me jogging several times during the 3.5 mile walk. We stopped at the local park that had a dog run and let them take a few minutes to truly run around and get some water in the last mile... and by the time we got done, I think all three of us were tired.

I still am slacking on cycling. I should've gone yesterday, but just didn't have the desire. Not sure why. I will later in the week, I think Wed and possibly Thurs or Friday. I've been taking a break from circuit training since my ankle has bothering me, so I think cycling may help it a bit. I feel like I keep flipping back and forth LOL. I am really enjoying exercising though. I feel better than ever and I can see myself slimming down and toning up!!
