Finally back on track with my running. I started slacking off and overeating. It was a slippery slope and the scale crept up.

I'm happy to say I ran 4 miles on Thursday (in 44 minutes), 4 miles on Friday (in 40 minutes!) and today slogged through 2 miles in 26 minutes, lol. The run today was more for my mind than my body. I wanted to be on the road.

I'm going on vacation next week & had decided to do no running. But I will pack some running gear in case I have free hour to get out and enjoy the solitude.

Well I am doing so crappy this month. Ended up taking 2 weeks off to goof off. I was trying to get back to it this month but now I'm sick lol I managed to do 3 miles today but I'm doing miserable for the month, only 24 miles! My goal is at least 50. Oh well.

Hey guys! It has been a while! Just wanted to post that the humidity here is not helping my running, but I managed a fast six with the running group yesterday and a very slow, very steamy (in a bad way) 11 today. Luckily, the half marathon is next Sunday, along with good friends and good food. Should be a nice vacation!

Keep up the good work everyone!

ok, I am peeing my pants laughing at the course "outline" for the new Nashville Women's Half-Marathon. Could that possibly be an accident.

You have to look it up yourself because I think a mod would slap me if I provided the actual link. But it is a real race. Sponsored by a major magazine.

Ennay, it took me a minute but I got it.

Umm, how do I explain this delicately.

The course is long and straight in the middle, semicircles at ends. Look at the course from left to right. It's outlined in red, not blue.

I think it's completely accidental because the course is so complex.

Haha, funny though.

The complexity is why I think it is NOT accidental.

The astounding thing is, how did they get the elevation profile for all 13 miles but the map is, erm, incomplete?

And that would be a crazy course, for sure.

I ran the Indianapolis Mini Marathon May 8th. I semi trained for it but I was definitely not as prepared as I should have been! It's definitely mental. I too wish the took out mile 7 and 8 - those are the miles on the Indianapolis Speedway! I'm having trouble getting back into running now that I've had my goal of running my 1/2 marathon. Any ideas?

Fat, you are missing it.
Mile 7 and 8 are there. It goes mi 6, down to a turnaround (mi 7) then you turn around and mi 6 becomes mi 8, then mi 9.

Whats really going on is that the course (in red) looks lik the outline of a certain part of the male anatomy
