Hey Lovn, great job! I am with you. The kids karate place is about a mile and 1/2 away. We walk or ride bikes whenever possible.
Today is school decision day. My older son has applied out to new schools for next year. 1 yes and 1 no so far, 3 more to hear from!
Auctions will be quiet for the next few weeks as the schools are on break, we are going to visit the outlaws this week to play some golf and walk in the sun. Looks like 60's where they are which is far better than the 20's here!
I am off to take the kids and friends to the arcade today. Miss Chick will get in a walk with me later! I will need the quiet
lovnmom- good for you for feeling awesome! I can totally relate..... I didn't think a year ago I would ever be comfortable in a bathing suit again. I took DS swimming this weekend and was definitely the fittest mom there. DH said I really stood out. It made me feel great!
3 this afternoon, I needed the time to clear my head from all of the school stuff, 1 yes 1 no and 2 waitlist so far, 1 more to heat from. We were suprised about the waitlists, we thought 1 ould be a no and the other was a saftey and we were shocked to find out he did not get in. Anyway he is ok with all of it so far.
Welcome happyteacher, 1 mile walked is better than 20 min on your behind!!!
L, Is your son heading off to college or does he have his choices of high school or prep?
WTG Baskgal!
I got 5 miles in outside. It is simply beautiful. Yes, I still had to wear my ear band, scarf, gloves and long johns, but no coat. Some places were really cool. The ice is still an inch or more thick in some spots on the road, but with these little rivers running through them. The sounds and the sun are just what an ole gal needs. I've been a bit edgy because I'm behind my scheduled miles for the month, but I only have 8 miles scheduled for next week, because of my need to spring clean before Easter gets here. I realized this morning that I have 3 of the 5 magor cleaning jobs done already. If I can keep my pace all I'll have to be concerned with next week is walking the miles I'm behind this week. That will be really nice. To take long walks every day of Holy Week rather than rush around cleaning and worrying. I think God shuffled my schedule for me, because He knew better!!
2 quick ones today, I need to take miss chick on a long one tomorrow since we will spend about 16 hours in the car on Thursday to get to the outlaws in NC! I can't wait to walk on the beach and play a little golf, BUT I am most looking forard to NOT putting on a winter coat for a week
My son has applied to high schools. Our public school is having some issues. That is about all I will say
4.9 miles outside in the dark tonight! Scary. I'll be more careful in the future about when I start running AND the turns I take (I only meant to do 3 miles).
