Weight still moving downward slowly. Down .6 lbs to 171 lbs today. FBG was 105. Not sure why but I think it was from drinking a second c. of coffee with the leftover wild chocolate out side my eating window. I will have to watch that and not do it again. So far I'm not having any problem eating just 2MAD. I think the fact DH doesn't eat after our early dinner so I don't have anyone I have to cook for. Plus we don't have to eat the same things. I'm having the leftover meatloaf because there's only enough for 1 person and he wants BLT. Since I eat bacon for breakfast, I don't want it twice so he will make his own sandwich and I will fix my left overs.
Carol Sue I'm sorry the weight is up even after the potty issue from the meal you ate yesterday. I have noticed that I have problems after eating some foods from different places. I think if what RFK, Jr says is true about the vegetable oils, that may be what they cook with that causes me to have potty issue. Also even though you had potty issues, there still may have been some spice or too much sodium. I hope you find your way soon.
One thing I've learned is that I have to be very careful with artificial sweeteners causing me issues as well.
Weight back to 171.2 lbs and FBG 98 and that was after eating KFC. Eating 2MAD is becoming a routine. I am eating regular food but keeping calories/carbs reasonably low although not keto. IF woe has always worked well for me.
Carol Sue Don't give up. I know that DH and I are going to want certain foods so I'm learning to work those foods within an IF woe for me. Remember you always did well with IF and I think you could find a way to make those foods y'all like to be worked within the way you like to eat as well.
Weight and FBG is bouncing around. Hopefully weight is going down. Will see how it goes.
Not able to exercise this week because of the sprained knee and muscle in the right leg as a result of getting in the tow truck a few weeks ago. We have been wrapping it with ace bandage during the day and I have prescription of tramadol to take when I need them. I don't like taking them but wrapping and taking the prescription is helping it heal. I also take tylenol for the pain when I don't take the tramadol or gabapentin. I alternate them to keep me from feeling like a zombie.

Trish, did youu ever takee Tylenol Arthritis? I buy the generic, Great Value brand. I sometimes onlybtake 1. You just have to be careful of your total dose of Tylenol iincluding other drugs that contain Tylenol like cough/cold meds. And you cant drink alcohol, which I don't think you do.

Yes,,I had Psoriasis and still do. There are medications that can be very harsh, so I never looked into using them. Actually, Psoriasis has to be diagnosed with a biopsy which I never had. My doctor made the diagnosis by sight. For me, being in the sun cleared it up and it got worse in the winter. Going by that, I started taking Vit D3 5000iu per day. since we have little sun in PA and I tend to stay inside I figured I was lacking in Vit D.
Then I read that Vit D needs Vit K2 to be absorbed so I switched to Vit D3 with K2 and my psoriasis cleared up. I have some smallnpatches on my thighs right now but the large patches on my torso are gone. Your DH could have something else,.like Excema.
The scale was up to 182.6. so there went my loss I had the day before.
By the way, my other issue is back. I dont think it will ever be completely gone.
Carol Sue I did also think about eczema. He has a patch on his back. He went to a dermatologist years ago but got no real satisfaction so doesn't want to see one again.
Weight is 172 again, but not sure if it will stay. You never know. I think it could be our ages.

About the patch on DHs back. Is it itchy? Is it red, or does it have white scales on it? I think Excema is itchy compared to.psorissis, and psoriasis has white scales. its very similar. My psoriasis is not itchy. Mine started on my elbows and around my ears and hairline. It didnt spread to my legs and torso for a few years. i never found a cream that made much of a difference. i went to a dermatologist once. I didnt like him and never went back. He didnt like that I had DH go into the exam room with me. There was also a nurse in there. I had to completely undress, and I was very uncomfortable.
Today the scale is up to 183.6. Im not happy but its my own fault.
I went for lab work this morning for my appointment on Monday. I know I did not do well. I was supposed to change my diet and get back to exercise to lower my A1c and Triglycerides. I didnt do either so I dont expect good results. These 3 months flew by so fast. Hopefully I will do it this time.
Brodie is doing well. I cant feel his ribs like I did before so he is gaining weight. He has an appointment at the vet on Tuesday for shots etc. We will see how much he weighs on their scale. Around 8 lbs. I dont think he will get much bigger.
I forgot to check in yesterday. Pain in leg is much better but taking the pain meds makes me sleep all the time. I've been trying to stay off of it like my niece told me to do but I need to us it some. Just haven't figured out how much. It helps to use it some.
Weight yesterday was 170.6 and today is 170. I hope I can get down to 160s again soon. I'm not eating a lot because I just don't get hungry. 2MAD is working great for me right now. I track to a little over 1000 calories on MFP, but don't always eat it all. Most days I have my eggs and bacon for breakfast, but don't always eat the bacon. Today I had just a protein shake. It depends on hunger and what I'm doing. We are having hot dogs with pork 'n beans.
Carol Sue I am beginning to think DH may have eczema. DD told me the cream pharmacist gave her and she said it works, but you have to have a prescription for it. Don't know if it works for psoriasis. It is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream. She said it works better if you put it on right after a bath or shower because being wet makes it absorb better. DH will wait and talk to our doctor when we see him for our 6 mo. appointment.

Trish, I think that cream also works for Psoriasis. But it controls it, doesnt make it go away. Psoriasis is when your body produces new skin cells faster than the old ones die off. The new ones groww under the old ones and pushes them up, causing raised patches. The new cells cut off the blood supply to the old and they dry out and turn red, then white. To treat it properly you have to uses a biologic, which can be very hard on the body. They often stop working and you have to switch to another one. They are very expensive if insurance doesnt fully cover. The sun helps both Eczema and Psoriasis.
Scale is down to 181.2 today. Coming down nicely. Please continue.
I got the results of my bloodcwork. Horrible! A1c is 10.2. Highest ever! I was supposed to improve my diet and start exercising, which I did not. Every result was in the red. Nothing was good.
I deleted my account online so he cant come back this time. Even if I restore it, it will be a different account. I can never restore the old account that I had. We were arguing too much and I felt it was time.

Dr visit was not good. He said my A1c was at a point that I should start insulin. I told him flat out No. I told him I can bring it down. So he is putting me on Monjauro. I know its very expensive. I hope to bring my blood glucose down low enough that I wont have to be on it long. I have no idea how to inject it. Someone will have to show me.
I deleted the account where I was texting with that guy. There are other ways he can reach me but I dont think he will.
