Leenie, thanks for changing the name. I think that will be easier for you. So far this February, I've walked 44 miles. My goal is 50 so that means 2 miles today, Monday and Tuesday. I used my 3 off days early in the month when I was sick. But so far I think I'll make it. I've gone 82 miles total since 1/12/06. Now if I could get the eating under control. :)

I usually get way more tired after cleaning all day than when I exercise. So yeah, it counts!!!!

hey marie - i posted a message to you on the daily thread but wanted to say that you are gonna love the 5 mile dvd. It took almost 2 weeks for me to get it after I ordered it so you have to be patient ;-)

I swam both today and yesterday while I was at work. I swam for an hour on Saturday and 45 minutes-ish today. It felt good!! I can't wait to swim more often again.

Today I hit the 100 mile mark since getting on the WATP bandwagon. I started on 1/12/06 and my log shows me at 100 miles today. YEAH!!!!

Peanuts - sorry I don't have any of Richard Simmons stuff but I'm sure that any type of exercise helps. The main thing is to keep our bodies moving. so go girl go :cheer: |

I've been waiting for someone to kick me in the buttisimo.....my exercise was "flushed away" in May (mama had big accident, surgery, OY! my life was not my own----but the excuses are over)

Yesterday I got a new walking dvd by Denise Austin just to change things up.
So I did 2 miles this morning with her. 1 fast mile and then the 2nd mile was with 3 lb hand weights and lots of upper body work while walking :carrot: I FEEL GOOD! :cool: |
I have been exercising sporadically to try to help with my depression. Around Thanksgiving I started being more consistant. I signed up with a program at the Y called Technogym. It monitors your heart rate and keeps track of reps and progress and stuff. I am hoping that it will help me stay consistant.
Anyways, I did my 45 minute routine at the techno gym. (Starts with roughly 13 minutes of cardio and then a series of weight machines and stuff). Then I did 10 minutes on the elliptical and then 45 minutes of Zumba. |
