Thanks for the kind words Jasmine. I really appreciate it. I have been playing with my diet trying to get the most out of what I can eat.

Oct. 2 - 168
Oct. 9 - 166
Oct. 16 - 164
Oct. 23 - 161

Okay I have 3 more lbs to go until Halloween, I can do it I know.

This weeks goal:
1. Exercise every morning and try and walk dogs in the evening
2. Eat more veggies and whole grain carbs

Jasmine: Thanks for the advice. I wasn't too bad this weekend just a two days worth of calories for my cheat meal on Saturday night. Who knew that a cheesy italian meal and dessert had that many calories.

Great Job Jasmine I have 5 pounds left. But If I don't reach the 10 pounds thats ok, since I did start this challenge when I was plateauing.

I know you can do it too sweetie!! I am glad my advice helped. How the heck can it have that many calories? That is what I hate about eating out! I wish more places would list cals and fats and stuff!!

I was all happy last week eating some carne asada tacos that came with rice and beans (my lunch out) and I got home and tried to figure out the cals in fitday and it said for one cup of beans and cheese: like 500 cals!!! I was horrified! I wasn't sure if they "refried" them or not but had to assume that they did! When I have beans at home it is only like 234 calories! Then I add the cheese sparingly etc. If I get that again I am going to tell them to take a scoop of beans and warm it up in the microwave, NOT fry them!

Okay so I am going to probably have my lunch out today since I need to go to the store today too. Nacho bell Grande here I come!!!

I usually go to calorieking.com to look up calories for chain restaurants and national brands. It usually has most of the menu which is great. When it is not a splurge meal I try and go there to see what is in my calorie range. But since it was my splurge meal I didn't, boy I wish I would have.

Congrats on the lose!

Dolly: when I go out to eat I try to make sure I know what I can eatoff of the menu in order for me to stay within calorie range. Friday night ended my week of poor eating with: a Chicken burrito mandero, It is huge and cheesy!!! I knew that it would be high in calories so I put 1/3 on a seperate plate for my daughter then between my son and I we ate about a half of what was left. When I looked for the closest thing to what I ate, The burrito itself was 1140 calories : I was glad I only ate 1/2!

Today:
Protein shake and coffee
2 egg salad no mayo, 1 cup of salad, and 1 oz baked tostitos
fruit smoothie with protein powder
chicken, 1 cup broccoli, 1 cup of brown rice.
1 banana

20minutes tread., 20 minute pilates, 20 minute exercise bike, 45 minute walk.

Hey there. I'm down two lbs. from last week; leaves me at 148. Trying desperately to get a hold on my nighttime binge eating, I'm fine during the day but after 8 p.m. bad things happen. I realized I hate eating in public, people look at me funny because I do odd things to my food, or just eat odd things.
Help me decide what to be for Halloween. I've got it down to: French Maid, pencil, Blow-Pop, or bedbug.

I haven't posted in a few days. Things around here are crazy! I haven't lost anymore weight but I'm hoping to keep on truckin'. I really need to get some exercise in. Glad to see everyone's doing so great. It's encouraging to realize that it can happen!

I go there to but they don't have everything. Like for instance when I eat at Coco's rest. They only mention the haystack burger, nothing else.

That burrito sounds crazy jcatron!!

PellMel that is great! Keep up the great work!!! French Maids are always cute!! Nite time binging? Eat more fiber and protein at dinner!!

Hi sugarbaby. You can do it!!

Fiona that is great! 1-6 pounds is better than no pounds!!!

Thanx for the congrats everyone! I have decided I am staying off the scale til friday. I had a bit of a binge yesterday. I was out of fruit and needed to go to the store and oon the bus that turned into an almost all day adventure! I had a slimfast and coffee for breakfast. Went to see Joe for lunch and had a nacho bell grande and 1/12th of his mexican pizza, got a few things from target and the plan was to get home at 1:30 on the bus. (The bus only runs every 90 minutes out here!!) BUT the bus was 25 minutes late picking me up at 10:30. It didn't pick me up til almost 11:00!!! So we ate lunch and since I knew the bus was late I went to target and got a few things. The bus should of come about 1:00 but it didn't get there til like 2:00!!! I didn't get home til 2:30 which means it was an hour behind!!! I was supposed to go get on the 4:30 bus, go to the store, and when I got back on the bus, that bus would be the one Joe was coming home on and we could ride home together and get home by 6:00. But that was all screwed up cause the bus was running an hour late! I thought of Joe at the bus stop. he gets off at 5:00 and that bus comes normally at 5:30, home by 6:00. So i thought, great! He will get off at 5, and if the bus is an hour behind he'd have to wait til 6:30 to catch the bus!!! So I figured I would just go meet him right before he gets off so at least we cpuld be together. There is another bus that is a 30 minute walk from here so I ate a pb sandwich real quick and trotted off to that one and got out there by 4:30 and to his work okay. Well the stupid bus that is closest to our house was so late it was almost on time again! It came by target at 5:40 and we went to the store and I was hungry! We wound up splurging and having pizza and crazy bread and bringing it home for the kids too. Didn't get home til 7:30!!! I feel like I was on the bus all day yesterday!! I had two pieces but really wanted 3! I told myself though that I would be held accountable when I got home and logged into fitday and that stopped me! I did have 3 stick thin pieces of crazy bread though too. I still need to count it all up but when I was looking at cal king last nite, i noticed that one slice of pizza has 8 grams of fat. that is the same amount as in peanut butter! So maybe I should start having that for lunch instead!!!!

Fiona: A pound is a pound, that's all that counts

sugarbaby: Maintaining and not gaining is just as hard as losing!

Pellmel: Way to go on those 2lbs!

jcatron: Great idea to share your food with the kiddos instead of ordering for them too and eating their leftovers. It saves money and calories!

Well tonight for dinner I am making something I have never made before and I hope it turns out because at the restuarant it is always so good. It is grilled tuna steaks encrusted with sesame seeds. I am just hoping I don't over cook the tuna. With it am going to grill some veggies and make not-so-fried brown rice. That is a new creation that I am going to try and make tonight as well. DH says that I should have been a scientist since I like to experiment with his food so much. Sometimes it turns out great and other no so. We will see tonight. Everyone have a healthy day!
