well I haven't posted in a while since I was busy rearranging everything in the house for the past week. By the time I would call it a night I would be too sore to do anything. I did do most of the house myself although my husband had to help with the entertainment center and did the bathroom but other then that I cleaned pretty much everything else. A room a day (2 days for the livingroom though). Yesterday I took it easy since I needed a rest. But today I plan on getting back to my regular schedule. In that time I (surprisingly) lost 1 lb. Considering everything, I didn't think that I would lose that much but it is a workout so I guess that that is fine by me. Just wanted a little update for all of you so I will write back later on today.
Just checking in quickly in between feedings/changing/playing/talking with DD (and the jelly-belly boxer to a certain degree as well!) Yesterday was an okay day eating/h20 drinking. I had about 1950 cal which is a little high for my goal, and drank 3.5 L of seltzer h20. Only 1.5 miles of walking. I REALLY want to do much better these next two days in particular..we are going to my parents' houseon Thursday, and I always run into someone from HS when I do. On top of it all, I am getting AF cramps, and I think it might come along early, so I am feeling bloated as well. I may skip the weigh-in this week, and just go by what fits. Either that, or I will weigh-in on Thursday rather than Wednesday.
Jennifer.....Great deals on the groceries! I love wheat pasta. I subbed it for reg. pasta in my house and nobody noticed. Sweet potatoes are great. You really don't need much on them as far as butter. In fact, I usually just put alittle molly mcbutter on them. BTW, the zone bars were pretty good. They came in handy when I had to run and was starving b/c I skipped a meal!
Hikein......I hate women's pant sizes as well! Don't let them get you down. They are all different, even b/t the same brands! I recently bought Mossino jeans from target....basically the same style even. One was 3 sizes higher than the other! I wish they would mark sizes like men's!

Gabrielle, you don't realize the exercise you are getting moving furniture around and all. This past summer I am one of my sisters had the *fun* of packing up my Dad's house that he has lived in for 31 years and unpacking and decorating his new house which is two doors down from me. It was work I tell ya!! I actually held a reasonable good weight then. Then it was over, the activity stopped and I gained the weight and the rest is history. Take it easy. It sounds like you have a good plan going though. One room a day. How big is your house?
Drazen, I envy you and then again I don't with having a sweet one that age. Lots of work than people realize but oh the joy!!! Of course that out-weighs the work. LOL Glad you are back today.
Julie, it drives me crazy about sizes too. I actually have a single digit blue jean skirt that fits me perfect but it is made by a name brand and there is no way I would fit into that size with others. Hope you are having a good day.

Well, ladies I'm so nervous. My weigh in is today at 12:15 and I have no idea what it will show. Either way I will let you all know. I on purpose did not get on my scales here at home for some reason I'm not sure of. Maybe don't want to be dissapointed this soon in the day? Maybe not get my hopes up because by noon it will be different. I am also wearing a different outfit than I usually wear there and that may or may not be a good idea but trying to still go for the "lite clothes" feel. Please keep your and I'll post again.
I feel icky 'cause I'm not allowed to work out until at least Oct. 25th. SUCKS!!! I want, more than anything, to get my butt on that thing and run like mad. My foot is feeling a bit better, with some random times of massive pains, but mostly feeling better.
Yesterday, in place of a workout, I packed a ton of stuff, cleaned the whole spare bedroom, put the packed boxes in the closet in there, and moved the computer out into our dining area, which we don't use at all. I think it'll hold our xmas tree sometime in late November, though.
Today, the plan is to relax, I guess. I have run out of stuff to do!! OH NO!!

Good morning!! Just wanted to say a quick hi. I'm going to head over to the feelings thread and post there to get some stuff off my chest as soon as boss man takes off for lunch. Been doing alright food wise, kinda, if you don't count that chocolate pie. Haven't really been exercising. TOM paid me a visit and felt like he was kicking me and tearing me apart from the inside out but he is slowly packing up and getting ready to leave for another month. God I miss being pregnant. 9 months with no visits from TOM. That was the best. Anyway, I woke up this morning, got dressed and feel lighter than I had in the past few days. That's a good thing!! I'm OP for food and water today, but won't be any exercising tonight. Meeting up with bf after work for a glass of wine and we are going have a little chat.
Today's food
b- 1 apple, low fat yogurt
L - turkey sandwich, banana
D - garlic chicken (with thighs instead of boobs because it's all I have) roasted potatoes and a big salad!!
Hikein2005 – I am with you on the big boob thing. Hate it. My sister was up to a size E after my niece was born and then went in for a reduction. Best thing she ever did. I wish I could. My insurance would probably pay a portion of it because I have had chronic back problems for many years (even had a summer of workers’ comp. a few years ago it had gotten so bad) but I don’t think that had too much to do with my boobs although insurance wouldn’t have to know that). I have degenerative disk disease and at the time when I was out of work I had a bulging disk. Not fun carrying these torpedoes around. Big boobs rot.
Jenn – Yay for you with the chance to regroup!!! Hopefully work will go better for you this week and you will be right back on plan!! You’re already one step ahead with all the yummy stuff you have prepared!! You go girl!!
Elisha – I am like you whereas I never get sick (I better knock on wood before I come down with the flu tomorrow!!) but when I do, it’s a whopper that I just can’t shake. Hope you are feeling better!!

Hello all! Let's see, Drazen.. I couldn't do it either at first. What I ended up doing is going to the site and right clicking on my lillie pad and going to properties. Getting the link directly from there. Let me know if you know what I'm saying.. and I'll try to explain it better! Well so far today I didn't sleep as late as usual.. but I didn't do anything either. Last night I didn't exercise.. but I cleaned ALOT So I think that helped burn something. Today I already started bad eating at Wendy's but.. I want to exercise after I get offline. At least 30 minutes of Denise Austin before it's time to pick up my son. The plumber is supposed to be coming.. I wish he 'd hurry so that I can take another nap! (oops bad girl!) Anyways I just plan on making me a salad later. I'm cooking hot dogs... since my dh went shopping.. of course he didn't get anything healthy. He said he couldn't find any wheat buns... but I do have f/f weiners if I choose to eat a hot dog. Not really looking forward to that right now though! Anyways I hope everyone is having a great day. I better get off now before it's too late!
Bleh. I feel like crap today. I was planning on getting a ton of stuff done this week, but unless I start feeling better very soon I doubt that is going to happen. I just have no energy whatsoever, and even less motivation.
Hopefully food and water today will be good, even if exercise isn't. I don't have much of an appetite, so that should restrain me a bit. I think I'm going to lay around, drink tea, and read all day. Mom actually told me to go back to bed instead of cleaning, even though our house is a mess (as always). I think I might actually do what she tells me to this time.
Ok, off to get some nice hot tea. Hope everyone is healthier than I am today!

Ok, you guys I lost what I gained last week so I'm back where I was two dag gum weeks ago. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, with this finally behind me I have decided that the CORE plan is not working for me. I'm going to do the FLEX this week and see what happens. I think the CORE may be good when I'm ever at the maintenance mode. You know what burns my butt? I WAS much smaller not that long ago. At this rate though not only am I not worthy of the 100 mile challenge, I'm not worthy of this one either!

Well, today is going good. My kids wanted to run through McDonalds drive-thru after our errands trip. I didn't order anything. I ended up eating 2 McNuggets and a couple of fries...then I came home and ate an apple. My tummy doesn't feel up to anything heavy today. Water....well, gotta work on that one (but when do I NOT have to work on that one - LOL ). I'll come back tonight and post the rest of the day.

Thanks for everybody's well-wishing about my stupid foot... I'm so mad at the stupid bone that broke! I considered yelling at it, but realized that if I do, it'll probably be a jerk and start to hurt or something. I'm such a geek.
I did, however, realize that I DO have an exercise bike, which does NOT bother my feet at all, because 0 pressure is placed on my toes/feet by biking!!! YES!!! YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So starting today, 20 min a day on the bike. Phew! I thought I was gonna go totally nuts, you guys. Seriously!
Anyway, my friend went into surgery yesterday sometime, got out around 6pm and was in recovery most of the night. They for sure removed the cancerous ovarian cyst, and they did some exploratory surgery/biopsies of everything around, and we'll fine out exactly what is going on later today, I think. When they did the blood tests, though, her cancer cells came in at a 25, not a 32 (which = ovarian cancer), so that's AWESOME news, and means that they probably caught it all very, VERY early!! YAY!! I think we're going to drop in on her Saturday, since she's downtown in Seattle and we have no chance before then.
Hubby's grandma died Friday night/Saturday morning, which is a bittersweet loss. We miss her, of course, but she lived a full, happy life, and she was ready to go be with her husband, who died a few years back. Her heart & mind were both slipping away, and she died in her sleep, so even if we miss her, she's happy now, and she can be with the love of her life. Thus bittersweet... Funeral is Friday, and I don't get to go, but that's okay. It'll be okay.
Well, my plan for today is to dye my hair, take a long, uber-hot & steamy shower, and relax my little butt off for the rest of the day. I might end up sitting on the couch & just admiring the fall bluster outside -- beautiful autumn day, sunny & cold, and the leaves are just cascading from the trees. Gorgeous!!! And the deep blue of our winter skies in the NW... totally breathtaking.
The good news is MoniCow is away for 2 days at our Fall Sales Campaign meeting. All the muckety muck loan officers get to go, and the peons stay behind.
The bad news- my phone has gone non-stop the whole time...this is crazy, insane paced phones- I can't get off 1 call before I have 4 new messages...I like to keep busy, but at this point, I have to pee like you wouldn't believe, and it has taken me 45 minutes to even type this much! LOL
Lunch was chili & rice from the new batch...yummy....breakfast was a zone bar, and since I had room in my #s, I had a small piece of pumpkin pound cake. Not horrible, but I don't think I like pumpkin.

well I actually did exercise today. I ran a mile and walked a mile. Was going to do more but Jasmine decided she wanted to take a nap so I allowed it. I am going to the gym later and plan to run another mile and walk more later tonight. we will see how the walk/run goes. I am hoping all goes as planned though.
Thanks everyone, but I finally finished my home. I don't want to go start on anyone elses. Mine was too much work and I can do without it for a while. I mean it seems like every so many months or so I am doing it to the point everything gets clean either from a move (Nov of 2002 and Jan 2004) or cleaning it fully. That happens every so often. But I am one of those people that get tired of the way things look often so have to have some sort of change every few months.
Lisa- good job on not getting McDonalds. My husband surprised me with mexican food yesterday but I think that I did good for me... I ate half for lunch and the rest for supper while he gobbled the entire thing down. it was so good though so I don't mind.
