I guess my body is working harder where I am healing because I had a much better loss than I expected. But, I also seem to drop weight quicker when I quit going to the gym for a bit and I haven't been in about 2 weeks. I will be on restrictions till Thursday unless when I see the Dr and he changes it, but I think I am going to hold off on going back until my stomach gets back to normal. My bowels are not wanting to move and it's super uncomfortable I can't stand walking for a long time.

Lacerta Looks like you might be in ONEderland next week! Good job!

Hi Everyone. We are kicking winter’s butt with all our healthy eating and exercise.

I’m glad I finally pushed past the 177/8 weight and hope to stay at 176 and below.

Finishing off a lovely weekend at one of my sons for supper tonight. They have sole and salad so I’ll be able to eat healthy. I might indulge in a cabbage roll but no perogies for me!!

Then I hit the road for a 2 day work trip but it’s pretty easy to stay OP on the road.

Wishing everyone an excellent week.

Hi y'all! I'm joining in a tad late! But, I'd really love to be a part of this and have a place to read and share success stories! I'm starting at 219 this time. I have no real goal yet except to work out 5 days a week. This week was only 3 but it's better than the 1 I have been starting and stopping for the last few months! lol

I am jumping into this challenge late but this was the thread that started me off so well last year and I really need to get myself back on track. I have gained back some of what I lost so my goal for this challenge is to get myself back to my lowest point from last year. I have just over 2 months so I am looking forward to getting back into my workouts and consistent healthy eating. Glad to be back!

SW: 254.6
GW: 239
Goal: 15.6 lbs

GettinFit: thank you! Gonna jump over to your thread to see how you're doing.
ButterCup: what a cute username hee hee. Welcome
DayDreamer: glad to have you. And you are close to a lot of people's weights on this thread so that's perfect
momtopands: glad to have you also ... the more the merrier. I'm going for about 15 pounds loss also.
CoolMom: yes, here's hoping that new year energy lasts all year long!!

I'm doing well. Feeling pretty good about quitting smoking two months ago, eating on plan for two months and starting yoga. Have a fabulous Friday, everyone. I believe Sunday is weigh-in day, when we fill in the spreadsheet found in the first post of this thread. For today, good luck to all of us on having a super On Plan day!

Just to be clear, you can fill in the spreadsheet on whatever day you use for your official weigh in. I filled in Sunday's dates because that is the date that I use, and because it is what the calendar shows as the start of the week (at least here in the US). But feel free to fill it in on a different day if that is what you use for your weigh in.

Definitely never too late to join. I can always add more lines into the spreadsheet. The more the merrier.

Alright...I'm joining in on this challenge too!
SW: 233
GW: 213

I decided a couple of weeks ago to get on the low-carb way-of-eating train. I really love it right now. I feel so much better and the weight loss is definitely a plus. I had sugar in my coffee one day last week and my whole day was messed up. I had a headache and just felt bad. Ever since then, I've been very strict with my sugar and carbs intake. I have turned down so many temptations because they haven't really been temptations. Usually on Fridays I am dead on my feet at the end of the work day, but today, I feel good. I am tired, but I am not downright exhausted like usual. It's exciting to really feel the difference.

Good luck everyone!

I was pretty flat all week, but was down this morning to 200.8. So didn't make Onederland this week, but I didn't really expect to, but I will hopefully get there this week. Soo close.

Also, I wanted to lose at least 5 pounds each month, and today is basically 1 month in, and I'm down 6.6. If I can keep that pace up, I may hit the 180s by spring.

Fantastic, Lacerta! You’re doing really well and your determination is a strength for everyone.

I’m feeling better about my weight loss this last week since I can now say I’ve lost my usual 5 pounds per month. Gives me incentive to do my yoga even though I often don’t want to.

Have a fabulous remainder of January, Everyone!

Ugh, I didn't work out but once this week. I've been sick all week so hopefully this coming week I can get back to it!

Ugh, being sick totally stops everything and is so frustrating. Just be ever so gentle with yourself ButterCup. Rest and drink that water. And soon you’ll be able to meet your exercise goals.
