I'm going to try intermittent fasting and really watching what I'm eating
A friend of mine has been doing that for about 5-6 months and has lost about 25 lbs. good luck everyone!

Down a little. Stayed within calories yesterday and within eating window but ate junk out of the vending machine for dinner. This weekend I will do better with meal prep for the week - I need to make a lunch and dinner to bring with me for the next couple of weeks and right now all I can manage is lunch.

nicoley73: I hope you're able to work in a dinner plan to go along with your lunch prep for the coming week!

Jayden: Nice recovery!

Finally back in the green with a weigh-in of 181.8! I'm just thrilled to see a different number for a change, and I'm hoping to stay under the 182 mark tomorrow, as well...lol. I only got in 85oz of water yesterday -- which is a tad bit higher than I have been, but I still want to hit the gallon goal mark today. I actually think I would have hit it yesterday if I hadn't forgotten my water bottle when I left the house...so, I think the extra hour in the day is going to help afterall.

Diet is completely on plan and I've had a week of 'normal' after my holidays, but the scales are being a bit random and need to start cooperating better. I've had a quiet word with them this morning so hopefully they'll pick their ideas up very soon.

Good morning, I hope that everyone is geared up to have a great weekend!

ophelia I hope that your numbness gets better. I had something like that once on the top of my right thigh and it I would get the pins and needles feeling followed by numbness and it was so annoying. I think it lasted a couple months and then went away. Nice drops!!

kfunk wow! Congrats on your whoosh! 5.2 down in great! Keep up your plan!

Ophelia congrats on finally getting off the merry go round and dropping down below your lowest so far! Boy do I understand the frustration that yo yo of the scale causes! Fingers crossed that you will keep up this new trend!

nicoley great job sticking to your plan and seeing results on the scale! Keep up the good work!

ange I am so impressed with your perserverence! You will make it to your goal and we'll be right here to celebrate with you!

Well i'm finally back down below my May starting weight and at my lowest weight so far. I also finally broke down and did my measurements for the month and I have lost 25 inches since January! Now I seriously need to dig out my smaller clothes from the garage so i'll have something to wear for summer! Everyone keep up the good work!

Got my whoosh (again). I've been quite yoyo-ie for me this week, but back bang on trendline now. Went to pub last night and had a mile ish to walk there, so luckily I was a bit thirsty when I arrived and a soda water appealed more than a glass of wine, hence the temptation was removed. Very happy that it's weekend!

snowmama if you're like me, the scale can do no right - either it's not moving and i'm grumpy, or it's too high and i'm grumpy, or it's dropped too far and I won't see another drop for a while so i'm grumpy!! Hang in there, if your diet's been ok, results are guaranteed eventually! Also giving the scale a good talking to and pointing out its shortcomings helps, I find

slimmer me stick in there! Good luck with getting some real progress very soon. This dieting thing can be so frustrating!

momtopands wow! big congratulations on 25 inches gone and a new low for you. That's fantastic! Well done! I've been having a big clothes clear out the last few weeks too, and in fact the last batch of old small clothes are in the wash right now. It feels so good to be able to get stuff on that I haven't worn for about 5 years (and then only briefly). And pretty much everything from earlier on this year is unwearable for being too big now. Is there anything in particular from your summer collection that you're looking forward to being able to wear?

ophelia well done you for dropping some more. Can't wait for you to get in the 170's, you seem to have had an undeserved extended time in the 180's!! Go girl!

Hope everyone else is doing well, it's good to read some good progress stories on here, but everyone that's finding it tough is doing it much harder mentally, so sending out willpower dust and positive thoughts - lets have a good weekend with good choices, and feel proud by Monday

Everyone is doing so well. I am back to finish off my last 10 pounds and then maintain. I'm up 4 pounds since the beginning of April - not the best month weight wise. I decided to join WW for the last 10 lbs since I seem to be yo yoing back and forth over these last pounds. Keep up the good work everyone.

I am IN. I am going to Belize June 2-19. Goal is to be 160 by June 1.

SW:169.2
CW 160.4 5/29/18
GW: 160

5/1 - 169.2
5/7 - 166.2
5/14 -161.6
5/21 - 162.2 ....boo!
5/27 - 162.2 ...wahhhh
5/29/18 160.4 - yeah
5/31 - NOPE - 161

Total loss May 2018 = 8.2 pounds ... I'll take it.

ETA - 5/8/18 - Full disclosure - I rode my bike 224 miles and camped on the Katy Trail 4/28-5/1. I kept to the correct calories and should have dropped a few pounds based on the miles and camping. Imagine my surprise when I returned and saw I had GAINED weight that week. But, it looks like my body kept on to water (protection from the stress maybe?) and is finally letting it go and the loss between 5/1 and 5/7 reflects that.
